A modular cable protector system has a cable protector with a lid that can be easily opened using a tool to removably engage a number of tool engagement features on the cable protector. For example, the tool engagement features can be openings or slots in the upper surface of the cable protector having undercuts extending horizontally beneath the lid from the lower portion of the openings. The tool can have an elongated vertical member with a horizontal protrusions at its lower end that can be inserted into the openings with the horizontal protrusions extending into the undercuts beneath the lid.

WIRE EXTERIOR BODY AND EXTERIOR-COVERED WIRE HARNESS

A wire exterior body and an exterior-covered wire harness, capable of reducing vibration noise generated by vibration of the exterior body attached to a vehicle or the like and the wire harness in the exterior body, caused by vibration of the vehicle or the like, are provided. A wire exterior body to be attached to an outer periphery of a wire, formed by bending a resin sheet, includes a plurality of wall parts extending along the extending direction of the wire and forming an accommodating part for accommodating the wire. At least one of the plurality of wall parts has a protruding part protruding from the at least one wall part.

Wire harness

A wire harness includes a first electric wire member including a first flexible wire and a hard wire electrically connected to the first flexible wire, a second electric wire member including a second flexible wire, and a tubular member through which the first and second electric wire members extend. The wire harness also includes a tubular holder that is attached to a longitudinal end portion of the tubular member and holds the first and second electric wire members therein. The holder has a first housing recess that is located in an inner surface of the holder and houses the second electric wire member.

Non-welded horizontal cable tray redirector
11171470 · 2021-11-09 · ·

Improved design of cable tray redirector components speeds assembly and connection of cable trays. More efficiently manufactured, universal components needed throughout horizontal redirectors of a specific size and type cable tray run reduce the overall total items and cost of inventory. The improvement is in part the elimination of welding cable redirector components in favor of connecting the components with bolts and nuts in the field. The inventory and shipment of individual parts is substantially more efficient because the new components “nest” efficiently prior to assembly. Moreover, components are designed to minimize the number of bolts and nuts used without jeopardizing strength. The use of bolts and nuts to fasten the components also enables good electrical conductivity for effective electrical grounding of the assembled cable tray system.
