The present invention relates to a corrugated hose. The corrugated hose comprises at least one conductor arrangement. The conductor arrangement is arranged on the corrugated hose or introduced into the corrugated hose in such a manner that any damage to the at least one conductor arrangement causes a change in a signal carried in the at least one conductor arrangement such that damage to or a state change in the corrugated hose can be derived from the change in the signal.

Cable Protection Cover for Increasing Pull-Out Resistance

A cable protection cover includes a housing attachment section securing the cable protection cover to a housing of an electrical device and receiving an electric connector attached to the housing. The housing attachment section has a connector lock with a locking member restraining the electric connector in a pull-out direction in a position in which the electric connector is attached to the housing.

A wiring harness for coupling electronic components includes a hollow trunk sleeve and a hollow branch sleeve. The trunk sleeve includes one or more notches and bends spaced apart along its length. The branch sleeve is interconnected to the trunk sleeve at each corresponding notch, with each branch sleeve open to the trunk sleeve through the respective notch. A bundle of wires extends through the trunk sleeve, with a sub-set of the bundle extending through each notch and corresponding branch sleeve. A first encapsulation layer is disposed about the trunk and branch sleeve at each interconnection separately secures each branch sleeve to the trunk sleeve. A second encapsulation layer is disposed about each bend to maintain the trunk sleeve in a desired pre-defined pattern with each first and second encapsulation layer being separated such that at least a portion of the trunk sleeve is free of the encapsulation layers.

Exterior member for electric wire and wire harness

A wire harness includes an electric wire bundle and an exterior member for electric wire. The exterior member for electric wire includes a tubular exterior body for protecting the electric wire bundle, a slit formed in the exterior body along an exterior axis of the exterior body, and an inner portion continuous with a circumferential end portion of the exterior body. The inner portion is disposed on an outer side of the exterior body before the electric wire bundle is accommodated. Further, the inner portion is formed with an electric wire pressed portion against which the electric wire bundle is pressed. Further, the inner portion is pushed into the exterior body through the slit while being deformed so as to be inverted when the electric wire bundle is pressed against the electric wire pressed portion, and is accommodated in the exterior body together with the electric wire bundle.

A wire harness includes electrical wires and an outer covering member. The outer covering member includes tube portions different in cross-sectional shape and size and a guiding shape portion between adjacent tube portions. The guiding shape portion guides the electrical wires when inserted. A cap is provided to each one end of the electrical wires, and the electrical wires are passed through the guiding shape portion with the caps facing frontward. A wire harness and a method for inserting electric conductive paths through the wire harness can enhance workability related to the electrical conductive paths and an outer covering member while suiting the wire harness to the shapes and the usage environments.

Impact resistant, wrappable, corrugated, multilayered woven sleeve and method of construction thereof

A wrappable, corrugated woven sleeve and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a wall having opposite edges wrapped about a central axis into overlapping relation with one another. The wall has a plurality of layers overlying one another. Each layer includes warp yarns extending generally parallel to the central axis woven with fill yarns extending generally transversely to the warp yarns. Each layer includes a plurality of annular first bands and a plurality of annular second bands alternating with one another along the length of the wall. The first bands of each layer include monofilament weft yarn and multifilament weft yarn and the second bands of each layer include only one of monofilament weft yarn or multifilament weft yarn. The first bands overlie one another to form peaks and the second bands B overlie one another to form valleys, such that the wall has a corrugated contour.
