Line guiding device for hanging applications, particularly as a service loop for a drilling rig
A line routing device for guiding a plurality of lines, such as cables, hoses, or the like, particularly for hanging applications, such as supplying a vertically traveling power head of a drill. The line routing device has a flexible carrying strand and a plurality of guide bodies arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the carrying strand. According to the invention, adjacent guide bodies can be deflected spatially toward each other and each guide body has a central part having a center axis, which extends coaxially to the carrying strand, and an outer part having at least one circumferential element. The outer part delimits a receiving region, which is open in the axial direction, for the lines, radially to the outside.
Inline housing for maintaining a cable posture
An in-line housing for maintaining a cable posture includes first and second barrels having first and second bores, respectively. The first and second barrels are mounted for movement with respect to each other into and out of a neutral arrangement. When the first and second barrels are arranged in the neutral arrangement, the first and second bores are coaxially registered with each other and enable rotational movement of a cable with respect to the housing when the cable is applied to the first and second barrels. When the first and second barrels are arranged out of the neutral arrangement, the first and second bores are skewed with respect to each other and disable rotational movement of the cable with respect to the housing when the cable is applied to the first and second barrels.
FLEXIBLE CHANNEL MOLDING ASSEMBLIES
A flexible channel molding assembly may include a plurality of molding members. Each of the molding members defines a channel configured to receive a cable, and the plurality of molding members are configured to be pivotally coupled to one another along an axial direction to conform to a surface having a complex geometry.
Line-guiding device
A cable-routing device, the members of which have central joint bodies for articulation to one another, which comprise a joint head and a joint socket. The joint head has an axial region in which the cross-section thereof has a peripheral geometry with at least two corner points and lateral lines which connect the latter to one another, the lateral lines which meet at a corner point forming an internal angle of less than 180°, and the joint socket has a receiving region which geometrically corresponds to the axial region of the joint head and into which the joint head can lock.
Shape maintaining tool
Provided is a shape maintaining tool for maintaining the shape of the plate-shaped metal wire when the metal wire is routed. The shape maintaining tool includes a first member that has a first holding portion for holding the metal wire and also has a first coupling portion that is to be fixed to the first holding portion. A second member has a second holding portion for holding the metal wire and a second coupling portion that is to be fixed to the second holding portion. The first coupling portion and the second coupling portion are rotatably coupled so as to rotate at least the width direction of the metal wire that is held by both the first holding portion and the second holding portion.

There is provided a supporting member having excellent durability and an apparatus including the supporting member. The supporting member includes an elastic member and a plurality of block members formed thereon. The supporting member is deformable from a shape in which end surfaces of the block members are in contact with each other to a shape in which the end surfaces are separated from each other. The elastic member includes a fixed region whose deformation is restricted by being fixed to a bottom surface of the block member, and the supporting member includes a flexure reduction unit for reducing flexure at a position near the fixed region of the elastic member.
Line guiding device
In a line guiding device for receiving and guiding energy lines, which can be arranged to form at least one loop which includes two runs and a connecting region connecting same, there is provided a device which causes a restoring force to be produced in the spread-open state of the runs in which the connecting region is bent open, the runs being moved back into their folded-together position by the restoring force.
SPLIT SEGMENTED BEND RESTRICTOR
An improved method and apparatus for providing bend limits and cable protection on medium to large diameter (approx. 30 mm-300 mm) seismic towed arrays, umbilicals as well as medium and high voltage power and/or communications subsea cables. These medium to high voltage cables are typically used on stationary and floating wind turbines and other offshore platforms such as used by the oil and gas industries. This system is an improvement over existing designs and techniques commonly used for this bend limiting purpose.
HIGH VOLTAGE WIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES
A flexible wire support structure extends between an axle and an inverter for an electric vehicle. The inverter is fixed relative to the vehicle body and the axle is moveable relative to the inverter during vehicle use. A wire extends between the inverter and the axle through a channel defined by the wire support structure. The wire support structure is attached at opposite ends to a first and second support structure, each of which allow pivoting of the flexible wire support structure in response to movement of the axle relative to the inverter. The wire support structure has a limited bend radius in response to movement of the axle, and blocks the wire extending within the support structure from being bent to a tight radius, thereby protecting the wire.
LINEAR MEMBERS HAVING ANNULAR AND AXIAL GROOVES
A fiber optic cable includes an outer surface, an axial groove and an additional annular groove. The outer surface includes an annular groove. The axial groove that extends in an axial direction of the fiber optic cable. The additional annular groove is configured to separates sections of the outer surface. The axial groove is configured to be gripped by a connector to prevent rotation of the fiber optic cable relative to the connector. The separate sections are configured to hinge against each other such that the fiber optic cable is bendable to a predetermined bend radius.
