An electrical wire cover that aims to ease assembly by addressing an electrical wire getting caught between two half covers. The electrical wire cover is a member that has a tube shape when a first half cover that has a half tube shape and a second half cover that has a half tube shape are assembled, and is configured to house an electrical wire. The first half cover has a first inner matching surface, and the second half cover has a second inner matching surface that abuts against the first inner matching surface when the second half cover is attached to the first half cover. The first half cover has an electrical wire restricting protrusion that protrudes toward the second half cover relative to the first inner matching surface.

QUICK LOCK SYSTEM FOR JOINING AND ALIGNING TUBES, CONDUITS AND JUNCTION BOXES
20170331264 · 2017-11-16 ·

A connecting system for quickly securing a hollow tube to a structure or to another hollow tube using a connector that has a housing with a tapered interior edge that operably engages a locking element positioned therein. When the tube is inserted into the locking element, the locking element holds and locks the tube in place in the connector. A guide ring may be provided within the connector to facilitate proper alignment of the tube within the connector and provide excellent electrical conductivity throughout the entire tube connecting system. One or more bearings may be provided as part of the locking element to facilitate initial tube insertion and then compression locking of the tube by the locking element. The connector can include a variety of structure engaging portions to allow the connector to be operably secured to a variety of structures such as electrical junction boxes, electrical conduits, tubes, armored cables, metal clad cables, flexible metal cables and the like.

Power supply device

A power supply device includes a rotation retainer including an inlet horizontally guiding the electrical wire one end of which is connected to the vehicle, and an outlet communicating with the inlet and to draw out upwardly the other end of the electrical wire, the rotation retainer being arranged horizontally pivotally in the slide door to retain the electrical wire movably, a biasing member configured to bias the rotation retainer in a predetermined rotational direction, wherein the electrical wire includes a bending portion to be bent in an L-shape between the inlet and the outlet, and a guide portion to be wired nearer the outlet than the bending portion, and wherein the guide portion is arranged in a natural state in which the guide portion is not twisted, or a twisted state in which restoring force is generated in a same direction as a biasing direction of the biasing member.

Pin-based non-metallic fittings for attachment of flexible metallic conduit

Systems and methods are provided for attaching flexible conduit to an adapter. A pin is inserted opposite a retention rib molded into an aperture of the adapter. Due to the geometry of the flexible conduit and the location of the pin and the retention rib, once inserted, the pin secures the flexible conduit and prevents the flexible conduit from coming loose.

A wire harness protector includes a protector body and a cover. The protector body is configured to accommodate a corrugated tube extending in a front-rear direction and through which a wire harness is inserted. The cover is configured to cover an opening of the protector body. A first front end being one of a front end of the protector body or a front end of the cover is arranged rearward of a second front end being the other of the front ends. A portion of the wire harness protector located at the first front end includes a first rib configured to hold the corrugated tube. A portion of wire harness the protector facing the first front end and located rearward of the second front end includes a second rib configured to hold the corrugated tube.

Additively Manufactured Cable Gland

A union body for a cable gland includes a body having a generally cylindrical shape defining an interior surface and a passage extending though the body from a first end to a second end of the body. A groove is formed on the interior surface of the body. The groove is configured to mate with an exterior surface of a cable received in the passage of the body.
