CABLE SEALING MODULE
A sealed structure (e.g., sealing module, sealing projection, etc.) transitions the direction of one or more cables passing through the structure. Sealant (e.g., a gel block) is disposed within the structure to seal one or more cables extending along a transition path within the sealed structure. Ducts and/or cables may be anchored to the sealed structure. The sealed structure may be mechanically secured to a closure at a selected rotational orientation.
Protective tube connection structure
A protective tube connection structure includes a protective tube through which an electric wire is inserted and has alternately large diameter portions and small diameter portions; and a covering member where an end portion of the protective tube is fixed, the electric wire led out from the end portion being disposed inside the body portion. A wire support portion is provided on a bottom plate portion vertically below the covering member such that the electric wire led out from the end portion of the protective tube is placed on the wire support portion at first and the wire support portion is located vertically above an inner surface of the small-diameter portion on an endmost side.
Wire harness
A wire harness including: a wire harness main body including an electric wire and an exterior tube enclosing an outer circumference of the electric wire; a path restricting cover that is attached to an outer circumference of the exterior tube and restricts a path of the wire harness main body; and an attachment attached to an outer circumference of a portion in a lengthwise direction of the path restricting cover.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TIGHTENING LOCK RINGS ONTO CONDUIT CONNECTORS
A system including an annular socket body for tightening a lock ring around a threaded end of a conduit connector extending through an opening in a wall of a junction box is provided. To facilitate capturing of the lock ring by the socket body without interference, the wrench lugs of the socket body each have a circumferential extent that is less than 50% of a circumferential extent between teeth of the lock ring, and there are half as many wrench lugs than teeth. Flat side faces of the wrench lugs are disposed at an angle of between about 15° and 40° relative to sides of the teeth of the lock rings so that the wrench lugs engage the lock ring teeth in a sliding point contact that promotes uniform engagement between the wrench lugs and the lock ring teeth when torque of about 1400 inch-pounds is applied to the socket body.
Sanitary wall installation connection box unit having an electric line feed-through
A sanitary wall installation connection box unit, including a box housing body having a rear-side base portion and a sleeve portion projecting to the front from the base portion, which sleeve portion peripherally surrounds a sanitary component mounting space, which space is accessible via an open front end face of the sleeve portion, and a connector body disposed on the base portion of the box housing body, which connector body includes a sanitary component connection contour facing the sanitary component mounting space, a fluid line connection interface structure accessible on an outer side of the box housing body, a fluid conduit structure for fluid connection of the fluid line connection interface structure to the sanitary component connection contour and at least one electric line feed-through opening leading from an outer side of the connector body through the connector body to the sanitary component mounting space. Illustratively, the base portion of the box housing body is made of a sealing resilient material at least in an electric line connection region adjacent to the electric line feed-through opening of the connector body, and the electric line feed-through opening of the connector body is covered on an outer side by a closure membrane made of the sealing resilient material of the electric line connection region of the base portion.
Quick connect
An electrical connection assembly includes an electrical box including a housing having an internal surface defining an internal volume of the housing. An electrical connector is positioned outside the internal volume of the housing and fixed to the housing with a fastener. The housing includes an aperture having an opening defining an insertion path extending from a location external to the housing along a frame of the electrical connector to a location within the internal volume of the housing. The assembly includes a disc mechanically secured to the housing relative to the opening to obstruct the insertion path. A retainer and a bushing including a membrane for the electrical connector as well as methods of making an electrical connector are also provided.
Detachable snap-in fitting
Disclosed is a fitting having a main body including a distal end and a proximal end, and a first split ring coupled to the distal end of the main body, wherein the first split ring includes an opening for receiving a main tab along an outer surface of the main body, and wherein the first split ring includes a set of disengagement tabs on opposite sides of a slot. The fitting may further include a second split ring within an interior of the main body, wherein the second split ring comprises a set of interior arms operable to engage a sheath of a cable.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including; a wire harness main body including an electric wire and an outer cover enclosing an outer circumference of the electric wire; a route-regulating cover that is attached to an outer circumference of the outer cover and regulates a route of the wire harness main body; and an attachment attached to an outer circumference of a portion in a lengthwise direction of the route-regulating cover.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVED MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTION OF HIGH VOLTAGE WIRING HARNESS
A system and method for connecting a high voltage wiring harness assembly to a vehicle. The system includes a tubing configured to provide an enclosure for the high voltage wiring harness assembly. The material used to form the tubing includes polytetrafluoroethylene to protect the high voltage wiring harness assembly from abrasion and to insulate the high voltage wiring harness assembly from substantial temperature fluctuations. The system may include an adapter plate configured to provide a mechanical and electrical grounding connection to the vehicle. The system may include a coupling assembly configured to couple the tubing and the adapter plate. The coupling provides a water tight seal between the tubing and the adapter plate. The high voltage wiring harness assembly includes a grounding braid. The coupling assembly is further configured to couple the grounding braid to the adapter plate for completing an electrical circuit between the grounding braid and the vehicle.
Wire cover
A wire cover 1 includes a first cover member 2 and a second cover member 3 for covering wires W in a united state. Each of the first and second cover members includes wire paths 12, 13, restricting portions 20, 21 and escaping spaces 22, 23. In the united state, the restricting portions 20, 21 of the first cover member 2 project toward the second cover member 3 and the restricting portions 20, 21 of the second cover member 3 project toward the first cover member 2. The restricting portions 20, 21 of the second cover member 3 are arranged in the escaping spaces 23, 22 of the first cover member 2. The restricting portions 20, 21 of the first cover member are arranged in the escaping spaces 23, 22 of the second cover member.
