Plugs and covers for a utility enclosure or penetration prevent the ingress of concrete. One plug includes a sidewall configured to be received in an open end of the utility enclosure or penetration, the sidewall defines a periphery. The plug also includes a lid extending over one end of the sidewall, the lid having a body extending over an inner peripheral area defined by the sidewall, and a flange extending outwardly from the body. A cover fits over a top of the enclosure and seals to the enclosure or a blank covering the enclosure. Connector plugs prevent concrete from entering connector openings and an environmental sealing material is applied to an outside of the enclosure. A clip for securing the utility enclosure to a form is also disclosed.

The base member has a perimeter configured to extend around the first corner and not reach the second corner so that the base member is not positioned above the second corner. The mud ring assembly also includes a movable member configured to support the electrical device. The movable member is pivotably connected to the base member and pivotable relative to the base member between a closed position in which a back of the electrical device is enclosed in the junction box and an open position permitting access to the back of the electrical device. The movable member is couplable at a second portion of the junction box to selectively secure the movable member in the closed position.

At least one bracket is disposed between adjacent joists of a surface structure. A base plate includes a flange defining an adhesive bonding surface, a ring portion defining a recess, and a cuff. A cover plate is configured to be received within the recess. At least one magnet supported by the cover plate is for magnetically coupling the cover plate to the base plate. The vent assembly is configured to attach with the cuff. The joints, base plate, and cover plate are configured such that in an assembled configuration an outward facing surface of the cover plate is substantially flush with the outward facing surface of the wallboard.

Outlet box for vertical or horizontal mounting

An outlet box is configured to be installed to a building structure in a new work or an old work. The outlet box includes an outlet box body and a removable flange partially attached to the outlet box body. The outlet box body has a base member, a first longitudinal side wall, a second longitudinal side wall, a first transverse side wall, and a second transverse side wall. The first and second longitudinal side walls and the first and second transverse side walls are integrally connected to the base member and extend upwardly therefrom, defining an outlet box volume therewithin. A plurality of first angled mounting holes and a plurality of second angled mounting holes are defined on an inner surface of one of the first and second longitudinal side walls and an inner surface of one of the first and second transverse side walls, respectively.

Each threaded hole is spaced apart from the opening. The movable member is positioned in the opening and is configured to support an electrical device. The movable member includes a first edge and a second edge. The first edge is positioned adjacent the first side of the flange and the second edge is positioned adjacent the second side of the flange. The movable member further includes at least one slot positioned proximate the first edge. Each slot is aligned with one threaded hole. The actuator includes a threaded portion, a head, and a bearing flange. Each actuator is secured in one slot by the head and the bearing flange. Each actuator is rotatable relative to the slot. The threaded portion engages one threaded hole such that rotation of the actuator changes the depth of insertion of the movable member within the opening of the base member.
