EASILY INSTALLED VERSATILE ELECTRICAL ACCESS SYSTEM USING MAGNETIC ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS
A support is configured to be attached to and supported by a surface and to a channel running from the first end to the opposing second end of the support. The support carries a first magnetic electrical connector in a first end of the channel and a second magnetic electrical connector, wired to the first, in the opposing, second end of the channel. The first magnetic electrical connector is in electrical connection with the second magnetic electrical connector via at least one electrical conductor. An electrical current applied to the first magnetic electrical connector is conveyed by that electrical conductor to the second magnetic electrical connector. Wiring is directed through holed in the support to access points in the outer surface of the support where the user may access electrical current for operating appliances, charging batteries, and passing digital information. The supports may be decorative molding such as baseboards, crown molding, and chair rails.
Retro recessed electrical wall box
An electrical light fixture wall box (5) having a open top (6) for mounting a light fixture and a bottom (7) with attached leg section (16) having a plurality of legs (8) with teeth (9) for insertion into a wall cutout with screws (10) to adjust and level the wall box in a fully recessed position in a wall.
AN ELECTRICAL POWER OUTLET STRIP
An electrical power outlet strip is provided. The electrical power outlet strip comprises a longitudinal extending housing including a base housing portion and a plurality of covers for attachment to said base housing portion along the longitudinal direction; and a plurality of electrical wires placed inside the housing. Each cover has same dimensional measurements and may be a sealing cover or a socket cover. A sealing cover has no hole for receiving an external plug. Whereas a socket cover provides plug holes for receiving an external plug. The electrical power outlet strip may have all sealing covers, all socket covers, or a combination of sealing covers and socket covers.
UTILITY CONDUIT SYSTEM
A utility conduit system includes a base having a bottom wall, a first side wall extending from the bottom wall, and a second side wall extending from the bottom wall at least partially defining a channel. Various components can be removably positioned in the base to customize the utility conduit system for a given location. Some components can include a universal mounting bracket, a by-pass unit, and a divider bracket.
Quick access cover for cable tray
The present disclosure is directed to a cover assembly for a cable tray having a cover and at least one panel. The cover for a cable tray has at least one access opening. The panel aligns with at least one access opening to allow access to the cable tray upon removal of the panel. The panel is selectively secured to the cover using fasteners placed through aligned cover fastener holes and panel fastener holes. The panel has a top edge, a bottom edge, and two side edges. The top edge of the panel comprises an upward facing lip. The bottom edge of the panel includes a tongue that has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is generally directed in a downward angle, and the second portion is generally directed in an upward angle.
Electrical Access System
A support is configured to be attached to and supported by a surface and to a channel running from the first end to the opposing second end of the support. The support carries a first electrical connector in a first end of the channel and a second electrical connector, wired to the first, in the opposing, second end of the channel. The first electrical connector is in electrical connection with the second electrical connector via at least one electrical conductor. An electrical current applied to the first electrical connector is conveyed by that electrical conductor to the second electrical connector. Wiring is directed through holed in the support to access points in the outer surface of the support where the user may access electrical current for operating appliances, charging batteries, and passing digital information. The supports may be decorative molding such as baseboards, crown molding, and chair rails.
Electrical box support
A support is provided for mounting an electrical box in an opening formed in a block. The support includes a planar body configured to be coupled to a first side wall of the electrical box. The body includes at least one side edge. The support further includes a flange coupled to the first side edge of the body and extends substantially perpendicular to a plane of the body. The flange is configured to contact an outer surface of the block and to orient an outer edge of the electrical box relative to the block. The support further includes a retention member that is coupled to the body. The retention member has an end. At least a portion of the retention member is movable from a first configuration to a second configuration in which the portion of the retention member is positioned away from the body and contacts the block.
Prefabricated multitrade subassembly building system and methods
A prefabricated multi-trade subassembly building system includes a plurality of plug-and-play modular components that may be constructed and prewired at an offsite location and subsequently shipped to a construction site. The system is particularly useful for building medical diagnosis and/or treatment facilities such as hospitals and clinics. Upon arrival at the construction site, the modular prewired components are assembled and interconnected. The modular components include one or more prewired electrical raceways, prewired wall panel units, and prewired medical headwall units.
Electrical Raceway Installation
An electrical raceway installation apparatus and method for installing an electrical raceway into a floor grid assembly of an aircraft. The electrical raceway installation apparatus includes a backing for connection to the electrical raceway. Floor grid tooling includes a horizontal beam that supports a floor grid assembly of an aircraft. The horizontal beam has a cutout that provides space under the floor grid assembly for insertion of the backing and electrical raceway. A hoist is connected to the floor grid tooling and lifts the backing and the electrical raceway through the space to a position for attachment with the floor grid assembly of the aircraft.
Customizable bus systems
A customizable bus system includes a system module containing one or more accessory modules and is easily mounted along a surface in a workspace, such as the underside of a cabinet. The accessory modules provide conveniently located utility services and applications such as power, lighting or media connections, and may be interchanged within the bus system to provide particular services and applications where they are needed most. Additionally, the bus system may include a control center for controlling the operation of one or more of the accessory modules, such as manually or automatically. The bus system may also include multiple housings that are functionally linked, such as by a connector module having couplings for mechanically linking with housings and providing electrical or other connectivity between the housings.
