The cabling is electrically connected to base connectors of the base. The base is configured to be physically and electrically connected to a rack. The base is at a fixed distance from the tube and is rotated around a center axis of the tube by a first angle within an angular range encompassing from more than zero degrees to less than 360 degrees.
Cover assembly for floor box installed in concrete pour areas
A cover assembly for providing a moisture resistant installation of a receptacle or similar electrical component within a floor box and flush with a newly poured concrete floor surface. The cover assembly includes a floor box, a leveling ring, a mounting plate, and a cover plate with a flip-lid hinged to the cover plate. Sealing means are provided integral with the cover plate for sealing against the floor surface and for sealing the flip-lid to the cover plate to provide a moisture resistant installation of the receptacle. The sealing means includes a lid gasket integral with the flip-lid and a plate gasket integral with the cover plate.
Power/data access module
An access module for providing access to an opening in a table, includes a grommet mounted to the table within the opening and including a top flange spaced apart from a work surface of the table, such that a flange space of the opening is defined from the work surface of the table to the top flange of the grommet; and a bezel mounted to the grommet and including a flange that is only located in the flange space.
Electrical floor box cover
A floor cover assembly for a floor box assembly that includes a lid and a base ring. The base ring can have a slotted portion that is sized to accommodate at least partial slideable displacement of the lid, and which includes an opening that extends through the base ring. The lid or the base ring can include a plurality of locking tabs, and the other of the lid and the base ring can include a plurality of lock grooves. The locking tabs can each comprise an overhang that are sized to be received in an open end of a mating lock groove. The lock grooves can be shaped to accommodate displacement of the plurality of locking tabs within the mating lock groove, such as in connection with a slide-and-lock attachment. The lid can also be manufactured to include a lid cover having a three-dimensional image.
IN-USE WATER-TIGHT COUPLER FOR AN ELECTRICAL FLOOR BOX
An electrical floor box is configured to be electrically connected to an electrical cable that includes a cable terminal. The electrical floor box includes a surface plate oriented parallel to a floor surface. The surface plate includes an aperture. The electrical floor box also includes an electrical connector positioned in the aperture of the surface plate. The electrical connector includes a connector terminal that is configured to engage the cable terminal to provide an electrical connection therebetween. The electrical floor box further includes a sealing member positioned between the electrical connector and the aperture of the surface plate. The sealing member is configured to engage a portion of the electrical cable to provide a water-tight seal between the electrical cable and the connector terminal while the electrical cable is coupled to the electrical connector.
Electrical receptacle assembly
An electrical receptacle assembly, comprising a housing including a back, a plurality of sides, and a front opening; a face plate attached to the housing; a support flange attached to the housing; at least one electrical outlet attached to one of the plurality of sides; a connection member attached to the back, the connection member including a plurality of openings; and a securing member for releasable engagement with the connection member, the securing member including an engagement tab and an opening for a fastener The electrical receptacle assembly can be secured to a supporting surface in an open position by a combination of fasteners and the securing member.
Electrical cut-in floor box assembly
A cut-in floor box assembly including a bracket assembly, an electrical box, a support plate, and a cover plate for rapidly installing a duplex receptacle flush with a floor. Floor preparation requires simple drilling of the floor and subfloor with hole saws. Two concentric cuts are made in the floor, a hole of a first diameter through the floor and a second, smaller diameter hole through the subfloor. A peripheral wall on the bracket assembly fits within the hole in the subfloor. A floor mounting arrangement on the bracket assembly enables clamping the bracket to the subfloor. A component attachment arrangement on the electrical box is adapted to accept recessed attachment of a duplex receptacle enabling flush mounting of the duplex receptacle with respect to the floor surface. Two removable outlet covers on the cover plate provide convenient access to the receptacles for plug-in of electrical cords.
POWER EXTENSION MODULE AND MODULAR ASSEMBLY THEREOF
An electrical power extension module comprising: a housing; a first retaining means for mechanical engagement with a first another electrical power extension module, the first retaining means being at a first end of the housing; a first electrical connector at the first end of the housing, the first electrical connector being configured for electrically connecting with a connector of the first another electrical module; a second retaining means for mechanical engagement with a second another electrical power extension module, the second retaining means being at a second end of the housing; a second electrical connector at the second end of the housing, the second electrical connector configured for electrically connecting with a connector of the second another module; and electrical conduction means located within the housing and connected between the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector and electrically connecting the first electrical connector with the second electrical connector.
MODULAR FLOOR BOX ASSEMBLY
A modular floor box assembly that includes a floor box having a plurality of fittings having passageways for power and data transmission cables. A power deck configured for placement within the interior region of the floor box can include a female deck receptor that is electrically coupled to one or more terminals that are configured for a hardwired connection with at least one of the power transmission cables. The floor box can include an aperture within the interior region adjacent to the power deck that is sized to accommodate passage of data transmission cables, and which is in fluid communication with the passageways. The assembly further includes a removable power puck having a male receptacle configured for plugging into the female deck receptor. The power puck can further include one or more electrical receptacles for electrical coupling to power plugs of external devices, and at least one data opening.
Fliptop integrated latch
An integrated latching mechanism includes a slider button extending along a first direction, curved elastic arms that extend from the slider button in a second direction and then curve back in an direction opposite thereto, a locking part contiguous with the slider button and extending away from the slider button and the elastic arms in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction. In response to ends of the elastic arms being held at fixed positions and an external force urging the slider button in a direction opposite to the third direction, the locking part moves in the same direction, and the urging of the slider button distorts the elastic arms such that upon removal of the external force, the elastic arms move the slider button and the locking part in the third direction. The elastic arms, slider button, and locking part form a single piece of elastic material.
