FLIPTOP INTEGRATED LATCH
An integrated latching mechanism includes a slider button extending along a first direction, curved elastic arms that extend from the slider button in a second direction and then curve back in an direction opposite thereto, a locking part contiguous with the slider button and extending away from the slider button and the elastic arms in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction. In response to ends of the elastic arms being held at fixed positions and an external force urging the slider button in a direction opposite to the third direction, the locking part moves in the same direction, and the urging of the slider button distorts the elastic arms such that upon removal of the external force, the elastic arms move the slider button and the locking part in the third direction. The elastic arms, slider button, and locking part form a single piece of elastic material.
Outdoor electrical box cord and method of making an outdoor electrical box cord
A power cord includes at least one electrically insulated wire, including a wire conductor disposed within an insulated sleeve, and a connection terminal. The connection terminal includes a crimp portion crimped and soldered to the wire conductor at least one end of the at least one insulated wire. The power cord further includes a heat shrink sleeve covering the crimp portion of the connection terminal and a portion of the insulated sleeve of the at least one electrically insulated wire, and an overmold molded around at least a portion of the heat shrink sleeve.
RECESSED FLOOR FITTING AND COVERS THEREFOR
A recessed floor fitting includes a poke-through housing, a divider assembly, and a feeder plate. The poke-through housing has a base and an outer wall with an open top that defines an interior chamber. The base includes a central aperture, a first perimeter aperture, and a second perimeter aperture. The divider assembly separates the interior chamber into a center portion, a first portion, and a second portion. The center portion is in communication with the center aperture. The first and second portions are in communication with the respective first and second perimeter apertures. The feeder plate is connected to the base, and has a mounting flange and a conduit extending from the mounting flange.
Brush port assembly and method for installing same
A brush port assembly includes a bezel frame and a brush component. The bezel frame is comprised of an elongate body having first and second ends, a top surface, and an underside. The elongate body is formed as a generally enclosed shape that frames an opening, whereby the first and second ends are arranged in an end-to-end relationship with a gap therebetween. The brush component has a spine member from which a plurality of bristles extend. The spine member is secured to the underside of the elongate body such that the bristles substantially entirely cover the opening. The bezel frame is installable, without the aid of tools, along an exposed edge of a brush port opening in a surface of an electronic equipment enclosure. Additionally, the bezel frame is installable around a cable that passes through the brush port opening by maneuvering the cable through the gap.

FLOOR BOX AND METHOD OF INSTALLING
A floor box for housing electrical components includes a bottom and a plurality of walls extending from the bottom to at least partially define an interior and to at least partially define a central opening accessible to a user. A top plate having an inner portion at least partially defining a first wiring compartment facing the central opening and a second wiring compartment facing the central opening is connected to at least one of the plurality of walls.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR INSTALLATION DEVICE CUSTOMIZATION
An installation device can include a body having a substrate, a first coating, and a second coating. The first coating can include a tinted coating. The second coating can include a clear coat sealant. The first coating and the second coating coat at least part of the substrate, the first coating located between the substrate and the second coating. Further, each of the first coating and the second coating can include a polyceramic compound. The installation device can further include a third coating and a fourth coating. The third coating can be a primer coating and the fourth coating can be a hydrographic film. The body can further include a recessed segment located on the first side, at least one opening extending through the body, and a cover plate to cover, at least in part, the at least one opening and the recessed segment.
Utility junction box
There is provided a utility junction box including a first housing portion with three sidewalls, a top sidewall, a rear access opening with a removable access cover, and an open bottom opening into an interior volume for receiving at least one line from a first location, and a second housing portion forming a weather guard extending cantilever style from the top sidewall and the three sidewalls including a sloping front face, a front wall, and a lower sidewall formed with a plurality of openings facing downwards, wherein each opening formed in the lower sidewall of the weather guard is configured to allow at least one utility line to pass from within the interior volume of the housing through the opening and direct the utility line through the opening formed in the lower sidewall of the weather guard to a second location exterior to the utility junction box.
Modular floor box assembly
