Disclosed is a sensor floor tile that utilizes a RF frequency transmissive disk that transmits sensor data from sensors located in a plenum of a raised floor system. An antenna is located adjacent to the disk so that sensor signals can be transmitted from the sensor located in the plenum under the floor tile to a wireless receiver located in an elevated location in a data center room, a computer room, a clean room, an office space, etc. A network connection can also be provided by the antenna when the antenna is connected to a router in the plenum.

A poke-through floor box assembly adapted to be supported in an opening in the floor of a building. An intumescent layer in the assembly provides a fire-proof rating for the floor box to match the fire-proof rating of the surrounding structure. The assembly includes a can and an electrical box having separate compartments for housing low and high voltage components. A transition body extends between the electrical box and the can opening. A flange and cover provide a means for closing the assembly. Keystone holders on the transition body enable mounting of low voltage devices such as USB ports. EMT fittings provide a means for attaching electrical metal tubing to the can to carry power and low voltage signals into the can. Alignment features on both the electrical box and the transition body enable rapid assembly and installation of the electrical box at the job site.

The leveling ring includes a ring body having an inner periphery and a plurality of arms extending from the inner periphery. A first set of arms includes bores extending from a first side of the ring and a second set of arms includes bores extending from a second side of the ring. The bores in the first set of arms match a circular bolt-hole pattern that is of a different diameter than the bolt-hole pattern in the second set of arms thereby enabling an installer to flip the leveling ring in order to accommodate cover plates having two bolt-hole patterns.

Poke-through electrical outlet assembly with leveling bezel

An electrical outlet assembly is mountable in a floor or work surface, and includes an upper bezel and a lower insert that are joined in a non-rigid manner that permits some adjustment to the spacing and/or tilt of the upper bezel relative to the lower insert. The upper bezel and lower insert are joined together by a plurality of fasteners extending between a plurality of fastener receivers coupled to the upper bezel, and to the lower insert. At least one end of each coupling fastener is loosely captured in such a way that when the coupling fasteners are fully secured, they are permitted to move axially relative to the fastener receiver or the lower insert. This allows the lower insert to be repositionable in its axial direction relative to the upper bezel, and also permits the lower insert to be tilted out of alignment with the upper bezel.

A pop-up power system with a hollow tower to support an electrical receptacle. The lid includes a lid locking mechanism, and the tower being rotatable between a locked position and an unlocked position. A mounting sleeve receives the tower body through it and includes a locking mechanism alignable with the lid locking mechanism. A liner is positioned between the tower body and the mounting sleeve, the liner comprising a groove for the guide pin in an interior surface of the liner which surrounds and slideably engages the body and is rotatably connected to the mounting sleeve. A biasing element biases the lid of the tower away from the liner and is configured to slide between an extended position and a retracted position with respect to a mounting surface so that it has an extended locked position and an extended unlocked position, a retracted locked position and a retracted unlocked position.

FLOOR GROMMET

Disclosed are embodiments of a round floor grommet and a rectangular floor grommet. These floor grommets can be constructed in any desired shape other than round or rectangular. Frame portions that hold foam pieces are joined together to form a primary slit in the floor grommet. Cross slits can also be formed in the foam material. The foam is a semi-closed cell foam that is constructed from PVC and nitrile butadiene rubber which has superior sealing effects since the foam can conform around objects passing through the slits in the floor grommet and seal any flow of air through the slits.

Adjustable mud ring assemblies

An adjustable mud ring assembly is provided that includes a base plate, a movable ring, and an indexing screw con-figured to move the movable ring with respect to the base plate between a first position and a second position. The base plate has a junction box connecting portion, a support connecting portion, and a stationary ring. The base plate can have an offset distance (D2) between the junction box connecting portion and the sup-port connecting portion where the offset distance is sufficient to allow the movable ring to move into stationary ring to the first position without protruding, at a lowermost point, into a junction box connected to the junction box connecting portion.
