Prefabricated wall panels simplify the constructive of dwelling units and other structures. The wall panels include an electrical junction that enables the wall panels to couple to other wall panels, allowing electricity to flow between panels. Each wall panel includes electrical conduit to allow for the flow of electricity within the wall panel. The electrical conduit is coupled to power outlets within the wall panels. In some embodiments, the wall panels additional include network line, enabling the flow of data between panels. The electrical conduit can transmit both power and data within the conduit. In such embodiments, a controller can decode the data signals from the power signals within the conduit. The wall panel can additionally include one or more components that can perform functions based on the data, or that can couple to devices or systems that can communicate via the conduit.

CONFIGURABLE LOW VOLTAGE POWER PANEL

A power distribution system includes a panel assembly that has an outer surface and two conductive structures spaced from each other and spanning beneath the outer surface. An application module is configured to engage one of a plurality of locations disposed over the outer surface of the panel assembly. The application module includes a first contact configured to engage the first conductive structure and a second contact configured to engage the second conductive structure. The second contact is electrically insulated from the first contact and the first conductive structure for the panel assembly to deliver low voltage power to the engaged application module.

MODULAR INSERT FOR A PATIENT ROOM

A modular insert for a patient room, the modular insert having a headwall with supply connections for electricity and medical grade vacuum, air and oxygen, and a lightbridge with medical examination lighting, the lightbridge coupled to the headwall. Further a lifting frame for transporting the modular insert to a patient room and facilitating installation thereof in the patient room, the lifting frame having a floor member for removably attaching to the headwall and a wall member for removably attaching to the lightbridge, the wall member pivotally attached to the floor member. Still further, a method for transporting the modular insert to a patient room and installing the modular insert in the patient room using the lifting frame.

CLOSED PANEL BUILDING SYSTEMS

Approaches describe a panel system (e.g., a closed-, open-, and/or solid-panel system) that can be assembled quickly and easily in the field without field modifications to the panel. The panels can be precision engineered, and include a building connection system for structural and/or utility connection between building elements. An interpanel connector can include a structural connector, a utility connector, or a combination connector that is both a structural and utility connector. A control component or another appropriate component can be used to automatically facilitate coupling of one or more building elements, and provide feedback on the assembly process.

Movable wall panel system with electrical connections

A movable wall panel system induces a plurality of movable wall panels. A first electrical connector of one panel is automatically coupled to a second electrical connector of an adjacent panel as the panels are moved from a folded storage position to an extended use position to electrically couple the adjacent panels together automatically. At least one of the plurality of panels has an electrical receptacle coupled to its associated first and second electrical connectors to provide an electrical power outlet.

Prefabricated demising wall with external conduit engagement features

A prefabricated demising wall assembly comprising two substrate panels each with an interior and exterior surface, the substrate panels configured to span between a floor and a ceiling of a building unit; a plurality of metal studs connecting the interior surfaces of the two substrate panels, wherein the plurality of metal studs define a space between the substrate panels; a fire sprinkler pipeline between the two substrate panels, wherein at least some of the plurality of metal studs have an aperture accommodating the fire sprinkler pipeline through an interior of the demising wall assembly; and a plurality of hanger elements operably attached to the exterior surfaces of the two substrate panels, wherein the plurality of hanger elements are configured to connect to a plurality of removable finish panels.

Configurable low voltage power panel

An application module is configured to engage one of a plurality of locations disposed over the outer surface of the panel assembly. The application module includes a first contact configured to engage the first conductive structure and a second contact configured to engage the second conductive structure. The second contact is electrically insulated from the first contact and the first conductive structure for the panel assembly to deliver low voltage power to the engaged application module.
