A cosmetic applicator for applying a product including a cosmetic, care or pharmaceutical composition onto the keratinous substrate such as skin, lips, under eyes, eyelids, cheeks, or any other part of the body. The cosmetic applicator includes an applicator head having an applying member and a shank portion. The applying member includes a stiffness modifying portion to modify the resistance of the applying member to deflection in a transverse direction. In one embodiment the applying member comprises a first application face and a second application face. The stiffness modifying portion comprises a hinge formed between the shank portion and the applying member. The hinge is limited to a single zone in a circumference of the applicator head to provide flexibility to the applying member giving user the feeling that the applying member is very soft and resilient. According to another embodiment the applying member comprises a planar spatula member with a first face and an opposite second face. The applying member further includes two convex bulges, namely a first convex bulge and a second convex bulge extending in opposite directions from respective of the first face and the second face of the spatula member. The bulges increase the stiffness of a portion of the applying member.

The invention relates to a pot (80) having a multipart setup, the pot comprising an enveloping pot (83) and a product pot (81), which is received in the enveloping pot (83) and serves for receiving a lotion or the like, the enveloping pot and the product pot being made of the same or different materials, intersections being formed between the different components for separation purposes, the intersections being realised as detachable form-fit, substance-to-substance or force-fit connections.

A wiping device for a fluid product applicator including a first part forming a support, a second part forming a wiping sleeve, the wiping sleeve making it possible to wipe an applicator stick immersing in a liquid product, the first part forming a support including an annular base resting on a mouth of the container, with an axial bearing collar and a tubular portion, the second part forming a wiping sleeve including a central passage and a wiping lip, with a plurality of legs extending from the annular base towards the sleeve, the legs being separated by secondary passages, which are located radially outside the sleeve and radially inside the tubular portion of the base, with an upper wiping lip having a free edge arranged in a plane located in the vicinity of the upper plane of the collar of the base.

A portable applicator for uniformly applying insect repellent or sunscreen upon human skin. A jar-like container normally holds the liquid contents. The container is sealed by a circular lid. The lid supports a downwardly-projecting sponge wiper that is saturated with liquid for subsequent topical application. The underside of the lid has a glue area surrounded by a peripheral ring for securing the wiper, and channels for directing fluid. A wringer-saturator, in the form of a foraminous partition, is disposed between the applicator contents and the wiper. When the applicator is closed, the wiper is compressed slightly by contact with the wringer-saturator. As the lid is removed from the container, the wiper will expand slightly, absorbing and holding liquid. When the lid is reattached, the wiper is compressed slightly against the wringer-saturator and liquid is partially expelled. The wiper has a fiberglass fabric covering for preventing dripping and easing topical application.

The present invention relates to a cosmetic for hair 100 including a container 1 having a liquid hair cosmetic preparation L accommodated in the inside thereof; and an applicator 2 provided with not only an application body 4 at one end of an application shaft 3 but also a container lid part 5 at the other end of the application shaft 3, wherein the hair cosmetic preparation L has a viscosity at 25° C. of 5,000 mPa.Math.s or less; and the application body 4 is provided with an absorptive member having a density of 15 kg/m.sup.3 or more and 95 kg/m.sup.3 or less, and the absorptive member covers the entirety of the one end of the application shaft 3.

Disclosed herein is an apparatus including two containers assembled together in a sleeve, where the first container includes a cosmetic agent, such a nail whitening agent, and the second container includes an antifungal active pharmaceutical ingredient. A cosmetic container includes an application body configured to hold a cosmetic and to apply the cosmetic to a surface, a container main body holding the application body, a cap detachably mounted on the container main body, a filling member, and a scraping member. The filling member is located inside the cap and forms a filling region to contain the cosmetic. The filling region has a diameter that is greater than a maximum diameter of the application body. The scraping member extends at least partially into the filling member to scrape the cosmetic stored in the filling region. The scraping member forms a tubular hole to insert the application body into the filling region.

A blister container having an applicator therein, used for cosmetic, medical and industrial products that is convenient to use and allows realizing the function of liquid contents, more specifically, a blister container configured to have a lower portion for accommodating cosmetic liquid so that the dual function of accommodating liquid contents as well as packaging the applicator can be achieved at the same time, a middle portion connected to an upper side of the container portion, configured to have a wiper-attached shoulder to mount an applicator cap and adjust the application amount and the usage amount, and an upper portion formed with a handle-package portion for sealing the handle portion of an applicator-attached cap.

A rotating cosmetic applicator system features a unique rod/wiper relationship that causes the rod to rotate when it passes through the wiper. The applicator head rotates in one direction when the user inserts the applicator through the wiper, and in the opposite direction when the user removes the applicator through the wiper. The result is a more even loading of product onto the applicator head than with a conventional mascara system. A more even load of product on the brush will support a more consistent experience for the user.
