A controller includes a control circuit that controls the entire power conditioner, a control circuit that controls the PV converter, and a control circuit that controls the inverter. In a start process, the control circuit controls activation and deactivation of a DC-DC converter and causes the impedance of a DC-DC converter to change. The control circuit detects an input voltage and an input current of the PV converter and determines whether or not the first relay is to be in a close state according to those values.

A photovoltaic power generation system includes a plurality of photovoltaic cell arrays, a plurality of power conditioners connected respectively with the plurality of photovoltaic cell arrays, and a high order device connected to the plurality of power conditioners. The high order device is configured to execute: a first output control to adjust output power of a designated power conditioner to a predetermined output power amount being set in advance; and a second output control to adjust output power from a remaining power conditioner which is other than the designated power conditioner among the plurality of power conditioners. The high order device is configured to execute characteristic-data acquisition to acquire an input/output electrical characteristic of the designated power conditioner during execution of the first output control.

For the photovoltaic power generation system, photovoltaic arrays and energy storage devices can be configured flexibly to cope with peaks and troughs of power consumption.

This application relates to a converter in a photovoltaic power generation system and a parametric curve scanning method for a photovoltaic string. A parametric curve includes a current-voltage curve or a power-voltage curve. The scanning method includes: controlling an output voltage of the photovoltaic string to change from a first endpoint voltage of a first voltage range to a second endpoint voltage of the first voltage range according to a first preset rule, to scan a first parametric curve; controlling the output voltage of the photovoltaic string to change from a third endpoint voltage of a second voltage range to a fourth endpoint voltage of the second voltage range according to a second preset rule, to scan a second parametric curve. There is an intersection set between the first voltage range and the second voltage range. In this application, whether a scanned curve is affected by a light change may be determined based on the first parametric curve and the second parametric curve. This is convenient and fast, and no additional hardware test device is required.

The control unit (611) is configured to detect a running state of an alternator (201) of the vehicle based on a measurement of a signal on the sense line (612) and control the converter (602) to set the output voltage in dependence on the detected running state.
