[Problem]

An object of the present invention is to provide the motor which is possible to obtain the skew effect within the rotor gap surface by arranging the respective magnetic pole pitches at imbalance positions without causing the increasing of the magnet machining cost and the rotor assembly time, and the electric power steering apparatus equipped with the motor and a vehicle.

[Means for Solving the Problem]

The present invention is a motor that has a skew effect within a rotor gap surface of a mechanical angle one-cycle, wherein a rotor magnetic pole comprises plural magnetic salient pole portions by means of magnetic material, an N-pole and an S-pole magnets are alternately arranged on a rotor surface between the magnetic salient pole portions, and magnetic pole pitches of an electrical angle one-cycle, which comprise the magnetic salient pole portions and the N-pole and the S-pole magnets, are unevenly arranged.

Synchronous Reluctance Motor

A synchronous reluctance motor includes: an annular stator; and a rotor disposed radially inside the stator. The stator includes an annular stator core having in its inner peripheral portion a plurality of slots located at intervals in a circumferential direction of the stator, and slot coils accommodated in the slots. The slot coils are formed by a wire having a quadrilateral section and are wound in the slots by distributed winding.

Rotary electric machine with adhesive-reinforced rotor

An adhesive-reinforced rotor for a rotary electric machine includes rotor lamination layers (“rotor lams”) having axial inner surfaces collectively defining rotor openings through the rotor lams. The rotor also includes reinforcement blocks disposed within a respective one of the rotor openings. A polymer primer/adhesive layer of the rotor having a bond line thickness of less than 1 mm is disposed between the one or more reinforcement blocks and the axial inner surfaces of the rotor lams. The reinforcement blocks and the primer/adhesive layer each have a tensile strength of at least 50 MPa. A modulus of elasticity of the reinforcement blocks is at least three times greater than that of the materials of the polymer primer/adhesive layer. A method of constructing an adhesive-reinforced rotor is also described herein.

ELECTRIC MOTORS

An electric motor has a stator defining multiple stator poles with associated electrical windings, and a rotor having multiple rotor poles. The rotor has flux barriers between adjacent rotor poles, the flux barriers each having a material with an electrical conductivity higher than the rotor pole material. The flux barriers are electrically isolated from one another external to the ferromagnetic material. Eddy currents are induced in the flux barrier to cause destructive interference of an impending magnetic field, such that the flux barrier effectively acts to inhibit magnetic flux during motor operation, which in some cases will result in a repulsive force that will act to increase an induced motive force on the rotor poles.

Rotor assembly and method of manufacture for electric machines having multiple magnet lengths

An improved rotor assembly configured for magnets with differing lengths, and methods and systems for manufacturing the same. The rotor assembly may be created by selectively creating first and second tabs extending into apertures of lamination sheets. The first and second tabs may be selectively removed, depending on the different magnet lengths and the specific lamination sheet, according to one of a first finishing schedule and a second finishing schedule. The lamination sheets are stacked with any remaining first and second tabs, and other features, aligned.

ROTOR, MOTOR, AND ELECTRIC PRODUCT

A motor includes a rotor and a stator, the rotor includes flux barriers. In a plane orthogonal to an axial direction, at least two flux barriers corresponding to each pole of the rotor are located entirely within an extending angle. A magnitude of the extending angle is determined by a number of poles of the rotor and phases of the motor. A center line of the extending angle is a q-axis of the rotor. A ratio between an area of the flux barrier entirely located within the extending angle and an area of all flux barriers corresponding to the pole is about ½ or more, and a ratio between an area of a radially innermost flux barrier entirely located within the extending angle and an area of a radially outermost flux barrier entirely located within the extending angle and a smaller one of the two areas is about 10% or less.
