A device for applying or removing nail polish or nail art has a replaceable cartridge with a distal end removably coupleable to a proximal end of a handle. The cartridge has a reservoir that contains a liquid, such as nail polish or nail polish remover and a flow control member (e.g., valve) actuatable to allow flow of the liquid out of the distal end of the cartridge. The handle has a flow path therethrough that extends between its proximal end to an applicator implement (e.g., brush, sponge) attached to its distal end, the flow path in fluid communication with the flow control member when the cartridge is coupled to the handle. Selective actuation of the flow control member by the user (e.g., by squeezing the cartridge) allows fluid to flow out the reservoir and through the flow path in the handle to the applicator implement for application of the fluid by the user to a finger or toe nail.

The applicator assembly delivers a cosmetic, health, or hygiene chemical composition in an active state to the user for a disposable single use. The applicator assembly includes a wrapper, and an insert. The insert holds the chemical composition, and the insert is made of a foam composition compatible with the chemical composition. The system and method for manufacturing the assembly is a web conversion process for the chemical composition and foam composition of the assembly. The chemical composition can be a cosmetic or other hygiene or medical treatment. The chemical composition includes amorphous silica, a white adhesive agent, a coloring agent, and an aromatic preservative agent.

Disclosed is a diffuser of a volatile liquid substance of the type including a container of the volatile liquid substance, closed by at least one membrane permeable to the vapours of the volatile liquid substance, wherein the container is at least partly flexible and contains a plurality of capsules filled with the volatile liquid substance and made of a pressure-breakable plastic material impermeable to liquid and vapour. The permeable membrane is in direct contact with the external environment.

An illustrated view of an exemplary lotion applicator for applying lotion or soap to hard-to reach portions of the body is presented. The lotion applicator provides a two-piece device that can easily be washed with warm water and soap. Also, the lotion applicator is useful for gently applying lotion or soap while gently massaging the skin while applying the lotion or soap.

A nail polish removal device, especially an efficient toenail polish removal device from a user's feet, is disclosed. The device includes a housing with foot placement assembly having a first area and a second area adapted for receiving the toenails of both feet simultaneously. The device includes a reciprocating sponge assembly, coupled to the foot placement assembly such that the toenails are positioned in contact with the sponge assembly. The device further comprises a filler to receive nail polish removal fluid, which is in fluid communication with the reciprocating and rotating sponge assembly, via one or more tubes, to aid in the removal of nail polish from the toenails of the user's foot. The device further comprises a switch and other electronic components to actuate and reciprocate the sponge assembly, thereby enabling the user to remove the nail polish conveniently without scrubbing the nail polish manually.

A multi-purpose touch free applicator with reservoir is provided herein. The applicator includes at least one reservoir, a first film, at least one second film contained wholly within the reservoir and a pad. An enclosure defines an inner volume of the at least one reservoir and the enclosure has an opening at a proximal end of the at least one reservoir, wherein the boundary of the opening defines a perimeter of the reservoir. Further, the first film is fixedly attached to the perimeter of the enclosure and the first film has at least one frangible aperture within the perimeter of the reservoir. Moreover, the at least one second film divides the inner volume of the reservoir creating a plurality of distinct volumes within the inner volume of the reservoir. Finally, the pad is fixedly attached to the reservoir at the perimeter of the reservoir.

A blotting and lipstick system in a single component wherein one end comprises a lipstick and the other end comprises a blotter. The blotting and lipstick system in one device provides a convenient way for a user to apply a beautifying cosmetic to the lips and then blot the lipstick to prevent the lipstick from getting on the teeth of the user. The cosmetic marker may also include a fibrous reservoir positioned in the marker barrel. The fibrous reservoir may be saturated with the solution. The fibrous reservoir may have a density of preferably between 0.12 g/cc-0.14 g/cc. The cosmetic marker may also include a polyester nib in fluid communication with the fibrous reservoir. The polyester nib may have a porosity of between 65%-70%. The cosmetic marker may also include the solution. The solution may include a colorant and dihydroxyacetone.
