Each coil of the plurality of electromagnetic coils may be mounted on a separate tooth of the plurality of teeth, and the base plate may be located adjacent to the plurality of electromagnetic coils and the stator core. The base plate may be in thermal contact with the plurality of electromagnetic coils and the stator core such that as the plurality of electromagnetic coils and the stator core heat during operation, the base plate is configured to serve as a common heat sink for the plurality of electromagnetic coils and the stator core.

The respective superconducting magnet element is formed by at least one strip conductor stack made up of multiple superconducting strip conductors. The respective strip conductor stack is secured in the associated recess by a radially further outer pole cap such that the pole cap holds together the individual strip conductors in the strip conductor stack. An electric machine including a rotor of this type and a method for producing a rotor of this type is also disclosed.

A winding structure of motor stator includes a stator core, two insulation members, an upper cap, a lower cap, and a coil. The two insulation members are disposed on two winding grooves of the stator core respectively. The upper cap and the lower cap are disposed on a top end and a bottom end of the stator core respectively. The coil is wound on the upper cap, the two insulation members, and the lower cap. Stopping pieces facing each other are formed on two sides of each of the upper cap and the lower cap. Each of the stopping pieces is separated from the coil without contact.

An electric machine includes a stator having teeth that define open slots and slot closers disposed in the slots. Each slot closers includes a flux bridge surrounded by a nonmagnetic case. The slot closer is disposed between adjacent ones of the teeth with the case engaging and spanning the adjacent teeth. The case forms nonmagnetic gaps between the flux bridge and the adjacent teeth, respectively, to reduce potential for torque ripple.
