Machine with two co-axial rotors
A machine having two co-axial and relatively rotatable rotors and a coaxial stator or housing with respect to which both rotors are rotatable is provided wherein two bearing arrangements mutually support the two rotors with respect to each other and with respect to the stator or housing. One of the bearing arrangements comprises multiple support bearings angularly spaced apart with respect to the axis of rotation of the rotors relative to the stator with the support bearings each having an axle or shaft that is fixed relative to one of the rotors or the stator. Each support bearing cooperates with a raceway provided on a concentric adjacent rotor or stator. The machine may be an electromechanical machine such as a wind turbine in which rotational movement of one of the rotors relative to the other and relative to the stator generates electrical energy.
PERMANENT MAGNET MACHINE
A permanent magnet electrical machine is provided including a rotor body and a plurality of permanent magnet modules arranged around a rotational axis of the permanent magnet electrical machine, each permanent magnet module including at least a permanent magnet and a baseplate, the baseplate including a base side for attaching the permanent magnet module to the rotor body of the permanent magnet machine and an opposite top side for attaching the permanent magnet to the baseplate. The rotor body includes at least a cavity housing a non-magnetic and/or non-conductive medium for creating a magnetic flux barrier between the rotor body and the permanent magnet module. The baseplate may include a protrusion. The protrusion may be shaped as a dovetail. One or elastomeric inserts may be provided between the baseplate and the rotor body.
ROTOR FOR PERMANENT MAGNET ELECTRICAL MACHINE
A rotor for a permanent magnet electrical machine that includes a rotor house having a rotor house yoke, the rotor house yoke including for each of plural permanent magnet units, a magnet unit contact face and at least one through hole, at least one permanent magnet unit having a rotor house contact face, a fixing material portion between the magnet unit contact face of the rotor house yoke and the rotor house contact face of the magnet unit for fixing the magnet unit to the rotor house.
FLYWHEEL AND MOLTEN SALT HYBRID ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS
This disclosure describes novel hybrid energy storage systems for providing short-term and long-term storage and delivery of electricity generated by any energy source including renewable energy sources such as solar energy and wind energy. The hybrid energy storage systems described herein have a higher overall real-world efficiency than energy storage systems currently available.
Multimodal renewable energy
Methods and systems for substantially continual electrical power generation for a moving vehicle are disclosed herein. According to the various embodiments discussed herein, the battery range can be increased significantly using a variety of energy sources. The energy sources are configured to facilitate continual electricity generation based on: (i) one or more generators positioned around predetermined vehicle parts; (ii) wind energy created by the motion of the vehicle in relation to the surrounding medium, and (iii) solar energy. The system for continual electrical power generation in a moving vehicle has a generator having a coil-and-magnet arrangement around one or more vehicle components/modified components. The system further has an energy generator for converting solar energy and wind energy into electricity.
Electric Energy Transmission Tether for an Airborne Wind Power Station
An electric energy transmission tether for an airborne wind power station comprises an elastic core, a first layer of one or more electric conductors helically wound around the elastic core, an electric insulation layer surrounding the first layer of electric conductors, a second layer of one or more electric conductors helically wound around the electric insulation layer, and a load bearing layer surrounding the second layer of electric conductors, for absorbing tensile forces and radial pressure forces acting on the tether.
Belt Driven System For A Wind Turbine Generator
This system includes a belt drive system for a wind turbine generator comprising: a tower having a wind turbine wheel rotatably attached to the tower; a generator platform attached to the tower; a generator supported by the generator platform; and, a turbine drive belt adapted to engaged with the wind turbine wheel and the generator to transfer rotational energy from the wind turbine wheel to the generator to generate electricity.
Pairs of Complementary Unidirectionally Magnetic Rotor/Stator Assemblies
Pairs of unidirectionally magnetic rotor/stator assemblies are mounted for synchronous rotation and complementary, so that one creates pulsating positive current flow and the other creates pulsating negative current flow, as the rotor and stator in each assembly are rotated with respect to each other. The pulsating positive current flow and pulsating negative current flow are combined at a desired phase angle to create alternating current, without power loss due to reversal of current flow.
WIND-WATER-LIGHT-MAGNETISM-AIR FIVE-ENERGY INTEGRATED POWER GENERATION DEVICE
The present invention relates to a wind-water-light-magnetism-air five-energy integrated power generation device that comprises fan blades, a power generation device and a rotary shaft and further comprises a base, guide rail posts, fan blade rails and a tower. The barrel-shaped tower is concentrically and externally sleeved with the rotary shaft and is vertically fixed at the top of the base. The fan blade rails are disposed concentrically with the rotary shaft above the base, the guide rail posts are vertically fixed around the base two ends of the elongated fan blades are respectively fixed on the corresponding positions of the upper and lower guide rails, the top of the rotary shaft protrudes from the tower, and the protruding section of the rotary shaft is fixedly connected with the fan blades through two ends of a rod-shaped tower rod.
Synchronous generator
The invention solves the issue of cooling of the power generator by change of its body. According to the invention the generator has a body in the form of open frame structure with polygonal base, made preferably of hollow profiles, connected removably with a clamp, where first stator segments are mounted on threaded pins, connected removably to the arms of the base and arms of the clamp, set on a circle larger than the diameter of a first rotor plate and further rotor plates.
