ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING ENDS OF GENERATOR STATOR COILS WITH MANIFOLD
An assembly and a method for connecting ends of generator stator coils with a manifold are presented. The assembly includes an adapter having a sleeve connection conduit connected to a sleeve of the manifold and two hose connection conduits. Two hoses are connected between the two hose connection conduits and end of top stator coil and end of bottom stator coil respectively. The adapter provides two separate coolant flow paths from one sleeve of the manifold to the top stator coil and the bottom stator coil through two hoses. The assembly provides a simple modification to resolve connection issues between generator stator coils and manifold during stator coil rewinding as well as a possibility to monitor coolant temperatures of top and bottom stator coils independently.

A method for producing a stator for an electric machine includes providing a stator with an annular stator body, from which a plurality of stator teeth protrude radially inwardly, wherein an intermediate space is formed in each case between two stator teeth that are adjacent in a circumferential direction, encapsulating two stator teeth adjacent in the circumferential direction with a first plastic mass, arranging a stator winding on a stator tooth, fixing the stator winding on the stator tooth by encapsulating said stator winding with a second plastic mass, following the encapsulation with the first plastic mass and before the fixing of the stator winding, a first mask is introduced into the intermediate space between the two stator teeth, such that the volume of the intermediate space that is filled with the first mask remains free from the second plastic mass to form a cooling duct during the encapsulation.
HOLLOW METAL PART OF STATOR OF ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE, ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE, AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF HOLLOW METAL PART
A hollow metal part is used as a pipe component for a refrigerant flow path of a rotating electrical machine adapted to cool a stator coil with a refrigerant. The rotating electrical machine includes a connection arm that couples the stator coil and a power supply terminal at a stator coil end portion of the stator coil, and an insulating hose that is coupled to the stator coil and the connection arm through a first hollow metal part in order to supply the refrigerant to the stator coil and the connection arm. The first hollow metal part is formed integrally by joining a part formed of stainless steel to a part made of oxygen-free copper.

A joined component comprises a first heated body, a second heated body, a brazing material, a first heated portion and a second heated portion. The first body comprises an insertion opening and an inserted portion coupled with the insertion opening. The second body comprises an insertion portion inserted into the inserted portion through the insertion opening. The first heated portion is provided at a first position including at least a part of the inserted portion and at least a part of the insertion portion. The second heated portion is provided at a second position separate from the insertion portion where a ratio L/D satisfies being 0.4 or more and 0.8 or less, where L is a length from the insertion opening to the second portion and D is an outer diameter of the second heated body.
Method of assembling rotary electric machine
A method comprises: a step of disposing a coil end connection portion of a first stator coil end and a solid connection at mutually adjacent positions after the solid connection and the cooling water pipe are brazed together; a step of disposing a heating coil around the solid connection and the first stator coil end in such a way as to bypass the cooling water pipe connection portion; and a step of supplying the heating coil with alternating current, so that the solid connection and the first stator coil end are induce-heated and then connected.

The present disclosure relates to a chamber for housing strands of a stator bar for electric machines. The problem to provide a reliable chamber for a stator bar of an electric machine is solved with a stator bar chamber engaging a stator bar in an electric machine. The chamber includes a number of hollow conductors in a first straight part of the chamber, a number of hollow conductors in a second tapered part, and a number of hollow conductors and adjacent solid conductors in a third straight part. The first part of the chamber is closed with a ring mounted at the edge of the first part and a nipple adapted to the ring.

The invention relates to an electric machine (1) having: a rotor (3); a stator (2); multiple winding pieces (5) which are in the form of hollow conductors, form different coils of a winding (4) of the electric machine (1) and are each part of a coolant circuit of the electric machine (1); and multiple external phase connections (L1-L3) which are electrically connected to the winding pieces (5). According to the invention, a hydraulic connection part (15) to which a number of the winding pieces (5) are hydraulically connected, and a seal (27) which has multiple passages (28), in each of which an end portion (8) of one of the winding pieces (5) is situated, are provided, the hydraulic connection part (15) and the seal (27) having opposing surfaces (29, 30) which rest against each other in order to ensure sealing of the individual connections of the winding pieces (5) to the hydraulic connection part (15).
