An applicator device (1) for applying a composition to an end of a pipe. The applicator device comprises an applicator head (3), the applicator head having a cavity (9) with an opening into which the end of the pipe can be inserted. The applicator head comprises at least one brush (10) and at least one aperture (12) for delivering the composition into the cavity, each brush having bristles which extend into the cavity (9) to wipe against the end of the pipe, each aperture being closer to the opening of the cavity than to a base of the cavity. There is further provided an applicator device (1) comprising a supplementary brush for wiping the composition over an internal surface of the pipe, a container (60) of flux composition for connecting to the applicator device, and a method of applying a composition to an end of a pipe.

A paint applicator, kit and methodology for using the same is disclosed. For example, a paint applicator that allows a user to load a desired amount of paint, such as a water based or other low VOC paint, into the paint applicator and an advancement mechanism that dispenses paint at a rate controllable by the user is disclosed. The advancement mechanism can include a system that translates a rotational force applied to an end cap of the applicator into a linear force that advances a piston which in turn applies paint to an applicator portion. The paint applicator may be reusable or may include a ratchet system that allows for only one time use. The methodology and kit can incorporate a syringe for loading paint into the paint applicator, thus reducing the loss of paint through spilling.

The present invention provides a reusable toothbrush with a replaceable toothpaste cartridge, which allows the replacement of the cartridge (3) after the entire quantity of the toothpaste has been exhausted, so that the toothbrush does not need to be disposed of. Additionally, its bristle (20) is protected from contamination before usage by means of a cap (4), while the hardening of toothpaste is prevented. The present invention has two distinct functions, namely the extraction of fluid from the replaceable toothpaste cartridge (3) and resetting the device before the replacement of the replaceable toothpaste cartridge (3). The toothbrush comprises a toothbrush handle (1) intended to carry said bristle (20) and membrane (21), the latter being removably attached to a hollow shank (19), and which houses the replaceable toothpaste cartridge (3) and the mechanism for extracting toothpaste from the replaceable cartridge (3), which can be reset in order to replace the replaceable cartridge (3).

An apparatus for dispensing a material from a cartridge comprises a dispensing head having a passage therethrough, the passage extending from a receiving socket to a dispensing orifice through said dispensing head, an outer casing, securable to the dispensing head and rotatably relative to the dispensing head and an end cap threadably received within the dispensing head and having an end connector disposed towards the dispensing head. The receiving socket and the end connector are adapted to receive the cartridge so as to rotatably fix the end cap relative to the dispensing head wherein rotation of the outer casing threadably moves the end cap in a longitudinal direction thereby compressing the cartridge between the dispensing head and the end cap. A kit may include the apparatus and a cartridge extending between first and second ends and having an interior adapted to contain a substance to be dispensed therefrom.

A dispensing-by-rotation liquid cosmetic container includes a pen body, a piston, a threaded rod and a threaded cylinder, which are coaxially arranged. A pen cap is sleeved on the front end of the pen body. A receiving space is provided inside the pen body. A bristle assembly is fixedly arranged at the front end of the receiving space. The pen cap is sleeved on the bristle assembly. The piston is provided in the receiving space. The piston is in an interference fit with the inner wall of the pen body and moves axially along the inner wall of the pen body, and the piston is fixedly connected to the threaded rod. The threaded rod is rotatably connected to the threaded cylinder by an internal thread. The threaded cylinder and the pen body are axially snap-fitted and rotate relative to each other in the circumferential direction.

A paint applicator, kit and methodology for using the same is disclosed. A dispenser that includes a resilient applicator that optimizes application of a subject fluid to a desired surface. In one embodiment, the invention is a dispenser comprising a housing having an internal reservoir containing the fluid. The resilient applicator is coupled to the housing and comprises a dispensing orifice. The resilient applicator comprises a working surface that is oriented at an oblique angle to a longitudinal axis of the housing.
