A paint applicator, kit and methodology for using the same is disclosed. For example, paint applicator that allows a user to load a desired amount of paint, such as a water based other low VOC paint, into the paint applicator and an advancement mechanism that dispenses paint at a rate controllable by the user is disclosed. The advancement mechanism can include system that translates a rotational force applied to an end cap of the applicator into a linear that advances a piston which in turn applies paint to an applicator portion. The paint may be reusable or may include a ratchet system that allows for only one time use. methodology and kit can incorporate a syringe for loading paint into the paint applicator, reducing the loss of paint through spilling.

A method for applying a composition to teeth and a dispenser for dispensing a composition. The method of the present invention is directed to the storage and dispensing of a composition. During storage and subsequent use the composition in the storage chamber must be maintained segregated from the applicator surface. This is accomplished by delivering the composition from the storage chamber through a delivery channel having a length and a cross-sectional diameter sufficient to preclude the migration of moisture and the enzyme catalase from the application surface to the storage chamber. The composition is applied to teeth by means of bristles, a sponge surface or fibrillated surface. This applicator can be used with both aqueous and non-aqueous compositions.

A personal care product dispensing system with a body defining a cavity configured to retain a spreadable personal care product. A spreadable material is positioned within the cavity. A cover is mounted to the body. The cover defines a first aperture extending from a top surface of the cover to a bottom surface of the cover. A flexible applicator pad is mounted to the top surface of the cover with a valve positioned over the first aperture. The flexible applicator pad has a plurality of projections and each of the projections has a maximum cross sectional area of 0.20 mm.sup.2 to 0.60 mm.sup.2.

A toothpaste dispensing toothbrush is disclosed, comprising a handle including an interior cavity to store a toothpaste therein. A dispensing element is provided within the interior cavity to dispense the toothpaste onto a head in fluid communication with the interior cavity via a conduit. A plurality of apertures are provided on the front side of the head to permit the egress of toothpaste onto the head along with a plurality of bristles positioned on the front side of the head to provide abrasion to the teeth, gums, and tongue during brushing.

The method of the present invention is directed to the storage and dispensing of a peroxide containing tooth whitening composition. A toothpaste and mouthwash dispensing toothbrush device for performing dental and oral hygiene includes a toothbrush that has a toothpaste reservoir which contains a fluid toothpaste. The toothpaste reservoir is in communication with a plurality of bristles of the toothbrush to release the fluid toothpaste onto a user's teeth for brushing the user's teeth. The toothbrush has a mouthwash reservoir which contains a liquid mouthwash. The toothbrush has a toothpaste dispenser for urging the fluid toothpaste onto the plurality of bristles. The toothbrush has a mouthwash dispenser to release the fluid mouthwash into the user's mouth.

A dispensing toothbrush is capable of storage and dispensing toothpaste and dental floss. The toothbrush includes a handle having a chamber constructed to store toothpaste, a dial, and a floss dispenser having a floss spindle, floss aperture and floss cutter, a neck, and a head having bristles and head apertures. The dial is positioned in the handle between the floss dispenser and the neck and turning the dial causes the toothpaste to be extruded through the head apertures. The toothbrush provides a dispensing toothbrush having a solid core that prevents toothpaste from becoming trapped within and that enables dispensing of toothpaste without unintentional dispensing or retraction of dental floss. Toothbrush can be provided in compact size and is ideal for travel in that it consolidates multiple items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss into a single compact device.

A dispenser for dispensing a mixture of oral care materials. In one aspect, the invention can be a dispenser (400) comprising: a housing (410) having a first reservoir chamber (430) containing a first oral care material (431) and a second reservoir chamber (440) containing a second different oral care material (441); a mixing chamber (450) disposed in the housing, a mixing screw (470) disposed within the mixing chamber and having an actuator (471) for rotating the mixing screw; a first delivery port (434) for introducing the first oral care material into the mixing chamber and a second delivery port (444) for introducing the second oral care material into the mixing chamber; a dispensing nozzle (460) for dispensing a mixture of the first and second oral care materials; and wherein rotation of the mixing screw draws the first and second oral care materials into the mixing chamber and expels the mixture of the first and second oral care materials from the nozzle.

A toothbrush pen comprising a pen apparatus having a pin tip housing ink and an outer body defining a hollow enclosure for housing a removable toothbrush apparatus. In this way, the toothbrush pen is an apparatus that looks and functions like a pen but also houses a toothbrush.
