A fluid dispensing toothbrush. In one aspect, the toothbrush comprises a body having a reservoir containing an oral care fluid therein, the oral care fluid being delivered to an applicator via capillary action. The toothbrush comprises an actuator for moving either the applicator and/or the reservoir between different positions.

An applicator for applying a fluid such as a cream, lotion, serum, gel or other flowable material to a substrate may have fluid reservoir, a housing in which the reservoir moves to release flowable material and an applicator head for applying the flowable material to a substrate.

A paint brush cleaning system includes a housing and a paint brush cleaner attached to the housing. The housing contains solvent that helps clean a paint brush. The paint brush cleaner rotates a wire brush against the bristles of the paint brush and actuates a pump to eject solvent drawn from the housing as the paint brush is moved in translation. The wire brush is coupled to a retractable cord, which rotates the wire brush. A holder is simultaneously coupled to the retractable cord and the pump. When force is exerted on the holder, the retractable cord rotates the wire brush and the pump ejects solvent. A user can insert a paint brush handle through the holder, thus actuating the pump and rotating the wire brush by applying force to the handle. The housing attaches to a user's belt, providing easy access to the paint brush cleaning system.

A targeted drug delivery device comprises a brush for use in delivery of one or more therapeutic agents during surgical procedures, including but not limited to, heart, chest, abdominal, brain, limb, vascular, eye, organ transplantation surgery or cancer surgical treatment. The therapeutic agent is selected from the group consisting of genetically engineered vectors or cells, proteins, stem cells, small molecule pharmaceuticals, drugs or biologics. Methods of treating diseases comprising delivering at least one therapeutic agent to a patients organs or tissues using any one of the targeted drug delivery devices are disclosed.
