This invention relates to assemblies, components, and methods for application of cosmetic products. For example, a cosmetic applicator wand in the form of an elongated tool including a region for gripping by a user, an enlarged element optionally including a groove, where the wand can be coupled to an applicator. The assemblies are designed to be easy and comfortable to use.

Applicator for cosmetic products including a wire made of metal material that includes a U-shaped body bearing tufts of bristles inside it, which is subsequently subjected to multiple twists so as to form a single body capable of holding the tufts in a stable position and arranging them into a spiral pattern, characterized in that an element in plastic material arranged outside the wire of metal material is associated with the brush, and held in stable engagement with it, the element including a centrally pierced flanged base body, with a shaped wall departing vertically from the external edge of the flange, only partially covering the brush, the wall bearing on its external surface at least one series of cosmetic product applicator tips, the hole of the base of the plastic element housing the terminal portion of the brush. In addition, the cylindrical base body has outward-facing toroidal ribs along its external surface designed to engage the brush thus constituted with the stem of the gripping and manoeuvring element of the applicator.

A method of manufacturing a brush includes providing a core wire section having a proximal end and a distal end, and an integral tip on the distal end, forming a bristle element having a throughbore, and inserting the core wire section into the throughbore until the bristle element is received on the core wire section.

A brush includes a core wire section having a proximal end and a distal end and a plurality of discs received on the core wire section, the plurality of discs defining a brush head. The brush head is shaped by at least one of trimming the plurality of discs of the brush head and/or bending a portion of the core wire section.

A method of manufacturing a brush includes providing a core wire section having a proximal end and a distal end, and an integral tip on the distal end, forming a bristle element having a throughbore, and inserting the core wire section into the throughbore until the bristle element is received on the core wire section.

The present invention relates to a brush for applying a product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, that includes a core that extends along a longitudinal axis, and bristles held by the core, the core comprising a bristle-carrying portion with a proximal end, intended to be fixed to a stem, and a distal end, the bristles having free ends defining an envelope surface, the envelope surface having at least one cross section with a not entirely polygonal shape, the envelope surface defining at least one facet which extends longitudinally and is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the core in the direction of the distal end, the facet having a width which increases in the direction towards the distal end of the bristle-carrying portion of the core, over at least a portion of the length of the facet.

The cosmetic applicator comprises an applicator head and wherein the applicator head further comprises an applying member. The applying member includes at least one main face which is bounded by two opposing lateral edges. At least a portion of the one of the at least two lateral edges includes at least four parallel incisions which make a non-zero angle with a central longitudinal axis of the cosmetic applicator. A system for the application of mascara to both eyes using the dominant hand. The system has a container and an applicator. The applicator is used to transfer mascara from the container to the eyes. The applicator has a handle, a brush head and a rod. The handle progresses along an imaginary midline and supports the brush head in line with, or parallel to, the midline. The rod has at least one offset section. The rod is long enough to enable a person to position the brush head in front of the left eye from the right side of the head, or in front of the right eye from the left side of the head. The offset section of the rod prevents the applicator from blocking the vision from a near eye when applying mascara across the face to a far eye.

An upper portion of the casing is formed with a fitting opening. The functional assembly includes a fitting part with a beauty accessory.
