A pullout cage apparatus is provided which is comprised of a base frame removably mounted to a pair of robust drawer slides. The drawer slides are coupled to each other by a pair of cross braces, which are in turn mounted to the base of a cabinet frame. A retainer cage is rigidly mounted to the base frame. The retainer cage supports a plurality of adjustment brackets, which allow adjustment of a face plate.

The panel is provided with a first engaging structure, and the fitting is provided with a second engaging structure configured to engage with the first engaging structure and thereby connect the fitting and the panel in a detachable manner. A securing device is provided for securing a front panel of a drawer to a drawer frame, having a holding element for securing to the front panel and a closing element for securing to the drawer frame, the closing element comprising a support and a closure having a holding segment supported rotatably about an axis of rotation on the support, a spring having an operative connection to the closure, and the closure being implemented for releasing a holding region of the holding element in an open rotational position of the closure, and for blocking the holding region in a closed position of the closure. It is thereby provided that a transmission element is joined to the closure by a rotating/sliding connection on the closure side spaced apart from the rotary axis of the closure, that the rotating/sliding connection on the closure side includes a first and a second guide curve, and that the two guide curves intersect.

At least two properties selected from the following group are implemented: (i) the multi-function component has at least two support contours on which the cover profile is supported, (ii) the multi-function component has a joining device pointing in a direction of the front panel, (iii) the cover profile has an opening to be covered by a cover part, (iv) the fastening device has an adjustment device for adjusting the position of the front panel relative to the drawer side wall and/or a device for locking and/or releasing the front panel, (v) the fastening device has a component movable relative to the drawer side wall, and (vi) the cover profile has an interface for connecting an attachment element.
