PLATFORM WITH ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT
An adjustable platform having an upper platform surface, at least two leg assemblies supporting the upper platform surface, and a drive mechanism that is configured to extend or retract the leg assemblies between a first position, in which each leg assembly is retracted to lower the platform toward ground, and a second position, in which each leg assembly is extended to raise the platform away from the ground. The drive mechanism includes a single motor that is drivingly coupled to each of the at least two leg assemblies, in which the drive mechanism is configured to simultaneously extend or retract both of the at least two leg assemblies between the first position and second position to thereby lower or raise the upper platform surface relative to the ground.
PIECE OF FURNITURE, A METHOD OF CALIBRATING AN ACTUATOR AND A METHOD OF ADJUSTING A COMPONENT OF A PIECE OF FURNITURE
An electrically adjustable piece of furniture comprises a first and at least one second actuator for adjusting a component of the piece of furniture and a controller for controlling the first and at least one second actuator. The actuators each have a first element and a second element which are displaceable relative to each other, and a sensor attached to the first element and adapted to measure a distance between the first and second elements. The distance measurement is based on a time-of-flight measurement of a wave. The controller is arranged to determine an absolute position of each actuator from the respectively measured distance.
Pulley assemblies for use in modular utility systems
A counterbalanced vertical track assembly which may be configured with three types of pulley support assemblies are herein disclosed. The first type of pulley support assembly has a pair of opposed pulley modules having an elongate structural element interposed the two pulley modules which are attached to end plates at both ends of the elongate structural element. The second type of pulley support assembly has a pair of opposed pulley modules which include male end connectors for demountable engagement of the pulley modules with another module of the system with female ends. The third type of pulley support assembly has a pair of opposed pulley modules wherein the modules' pulley brackets are repositionable to varying angular orientations by alternating screw mount positions selected on mount components at opposite ends of an elongate structural element.
Electrically adjustable table system and method for producing an electrically adjustable table system
An electrically adjustable table system includes a table, at least one electric drive for adjusting the table, a voltage supply, a control and a bus system. The at least one drive, the voltage supply and the control are connected to the bus system. The bus system comprises multiple multiwire cable sections, which are electrically connected to one another via insulation displacement connectors.
Desk with support structures configured to attach modular attachments
A desk with support structures configured to attach modular attachments is disclosed. Exemplary implementations may include a work surface, a left-side support structure, a right-side support structure, a core body, a working body that provides the work surface, one or more modular attachments, one or more mounting brackets, and/or other components. The one or more modular attachments can be mechanically coupled to and supported by either support structure.
Height adjustable desk
A height adjustable desk includes a worksurface, a first leg and a second leg connected to the worksurface. The first leg is provided with a first motor to drive a first lifting apparatus for telescoping the first leg, while the second leg is provided with a second motor to drive a second lifting apparatus for telescoping the second leg. Each of the first motor and the second motor is provided with a magnetic device and two sensors. The magnetic device has several N-pole sections and S-pole sections, and the sensor detect a change of a magnetic field when the motor is turning. A control unit receives the signals of the sensor, and changes a speed of at least one of the motors until the signals are synchronous again when the control unit found that the signals are not synchronous.
Elliptically Rotating Cable Organizing Device
A cable organizing device is disclosed. A tray, mountable adjacent an underside of a working surface, comprises opposed side walls and a distal back wall joined by a tray floor, the tray floor comprising a U-shaped trough along a proximal side forming a front side wall of the tray. The distal back wall comprises notches along its upper edge opposite the floor. A distal portion of the side walls comprises mounting tabs comprising an eccentric hinge point around which the tray rotates elliptically, rotating the back wall of the tray away from the underside of the working surface. As the tray is rotated away from the underside of the working surface an opening is formed above the back wall to allow electrical cable components to pass the notches into the tray and loose cable components in the tray slide into the U-shaped trough.
Adjustable height table and base assembly
An adjustable height table base assembly includes two or more leg assemblies each including a mobile leg member, a stationary leg member, and a linear motion system. The mobile and stationary leg members are each formed of a flat vertical support structure. The leg assemblies are configured to extend and retract to adjust a height position of the mobile leg member and any table top secured to the mobile leg member. The mobile leg members slide in a parallel direction in relation to the stationary leg members by means of linear motion systems. The power mechanism for the adjustable height table may comprise a counterbalance mechanism or one or more electric motors. Optionally, each of the leg assemblies also includes a non-load bearing cover enclosing at least a portion of the mobile leg member and at least a portion of the stationary leg member.
Powered lifting table
A lifting table with a large height adjustment range is provided. The lifting table includes two opposing leg assemblies that each include a first leg portion and a second leg portion. The first leg portion and the second leg portion are hingedly coupled. An end of each of the first leg portion is mounted to a track and configured to move along the track to adjust the height of the table. As the first leg portion moves along the track, the angle of the first leg portion relative to the second leg portion changes.
