Wireless earphones that play lossy compressed streaming audio
Left and right earphones are independently wireless such that the left and right earphones are not physically connected when worn by a user. Each earphone comprises a speaker, a body portion, and an earbud extending from the body portion. The body portion comprises a downwardly extending portion that extends straight downwardly when the earphone is worn by the user, a wireless communication circuit for receiving signals transmitted wirelessly to the earphone from a remote source, a microphone, a rechargeable battery, a memory and a processor. Each earphone is configured to receive from a remote computing device, and store in the memory, a firmware update.
DISPLAY PANEL WITH TOUCH DETECTION FUNCTION, DRIVE CIRCUIT, AND ELECTRONIC UNIT
There are provided a display panel with a touch detection function, a drive circuit, and an electronic unit, which make it possible to realize many functions related to touch detection. The display panel includes: one or more display elements; one or more drive electrodes extending in one direction; an electrode drive section integrated into a chip, and applying a drive signal to the drive electrodes; and one or more touch detection electrodes extending in a direction intersecting the direction in which the drive electrodes extend.
INPUT APPARATUS, INPUT DETECTION METHOD, AND IN-VEHICLE APPARATUS
An input apparatus includes a plurality of electrodes spaced apart from each other, a signal processing unit configured to output an input signal depending on a change in a capacitance of each electrode, and a determination unit configured to determine whether an operation object comes in a proximity of at least one of electrodes based on input signals output from the signal processing unit. The determination unit makes a determination such that in a case where one of the input signals is greater than or equal to a first threshold value and an integral value of another of the plurality of input signals in a predetermined integration period is greater than or equal to a second threshold value, it is determined that an operation object has come in a proximity of an electrode corresponding to the one of the input signals.
DETECTION CHIP CAPABLE OF CANCELLING BASELINE VOLTAGE
There is provided a detection chip including a charging circuit, a discharging circuit, a counter and a processor. The charging circuit provides a first charging current within a first charging interval, and provides a second charging current, smaller than the first charging current, within a second charging interval. The discharging circuit provides a first discharging current within a first discharging interval, and provides a second discharging current, smaller than the first discharging current, within a second discharging interval. The counter counts the second charging interval and the second discharging interval. The processor identifies a touch event according to the second charging interval and the second discharging interval.
Downhole apparatus
A downhole apparatus including a tubular body, first and second ports in a wall of the body, and a fluid pressure-responsive valve arrangement having a locked first configuration associated with a first pressure in which the first port is open and the second port is closed, an unlocked second configuration associated with a second pressure higher than the first pressure in which the first port is open and the second port is closed, and a third configuration associated with a third pressure lower than the second pressure in which the second port is open and the first port is closed.
APPARATUS TO SECURE A SENSOR ASSEMBLY FOR A DEVICE TOUCH BUTTON
An apparatus to secure a sensor assembly for a device touch button (such as for a mobile communications device). A touch sensor slot forms a part of the device case interior at a back-side of the touch button surface, and is configured to position the touch sensor (such as a sense coil inductor) relative to the associated touch button. A touch sensor spring clip is inserted within the touch sensor slot to flexibly urge the touch sensor toward the front-side surface of the touch sensor slot (back-side of the touch button surface). The touch sensor can include front-side spacers to maintain a sensing gap between the touch sensor and the touch button surface, and can include a sensor stiffener at the back-side surface of the touch sensor assembly, the touch sensor spring clip contacting the sensor stiffener. The touch sensor assembly can comprise a flex circuit PCB assembly.
Touch or proximity sensing system and method
A system for sensing touch or proximity include: a first number of input terminals configured to couple one or more capacitive sensors, a second number of transferring units configured to transfer charges from the one or more capacitive sensors through the first number of input terminals in transferring phases of cycles of the one or more capacitive sensor, wherein at least one of the first and second numbers is equal to or greater than two, and a first switching unit, coupled between the first number of input terminals and the second number of transferring units, configured to selectively electrically couple any one of the first number of input terminals to any one of the second number of transferring units in the transferring phases.
INPUT APPARATUS, KEYBOARD, AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
An input apparatus includes a conductive layer having flexibility, a capacitance-type sensor layer having a plurality of detection units, and a structure layer having a plurality of structures, a reaction force of which is non-linearly changed with respect to a pressing amount. The structure layer is disposed between the conductive layer and the sensor layer. The two or more structures are disposed in an operation area corresponding to the detection units.
Vehicle system for detecting and visually conveying vehicle button interaction
A method includes receiving sensed signal data from at least one circuit based on a user in proximity to at least one electrode corresponding to the at least one circuit. Hover detection data indicating a detected hover in proximity to an interactable element of a vehicle is generated. Button feedback display data indicating the interactable element is generated based on the hover detection data. Display of the button feedback display data via a display device is facilitated.
