Systems and methods for indicating real time availability of key assemblies for user input to an information handling system
Systems and methods are disclosed that may be implemented to indicate real time availability of individual key assemblies for user input to an information handling system. In one embodiment, the disclosed systems and methods may be implemented to retract an individual key assembly of a user input device (e.g., such as keyboard matrix, game controller, game pad, computer mouse, etc.) when the key assembly is, or becomes, unavailable for input to a user application (e.g., such as a computer game) that is executing on a host programmable integrated circuit (e.g., such as host CPU) of an information handling system. Such a retracted key assembly may then be extended when it becomes available for input to the user application.
APPLIANCE HAVING TOUCH SENSOR ASSEMBLY
An appliance that includes: a front panel having a touch point; a touch board including: a first side attached to a location on a rear surface of the front panel, the location corresponding to the touch point; a second side opposite to the first side; a pressing portion;
and one or more holes defined around the pressing portion and configured to enable an elastic movement of the pressing portion; a holder that is attached to the second side of the touch board, the holder having a receiving portion; a piezo disc configured to be inserted in the receiving portion of the holder and contact the pressing portion; a guide board having a seating hole configured to receive the holder and the piezo disc; and a first adhesive member attached to the first side of the touch board and configured to attach to the rear surface of the front panel.
Touch panel
A touch panel includes a first sheet and a second sheet that are disposed opposing each other. A first conductive path and a second conductive path are formed facing each other on main surfaces of the first sheet and the second sheet, respectively. The second conductive path is spaced apart from the first conductive path when viewed in the normal direction of the first sheet. On the main surface of the second sheet, pressure-detecting conductive paths electrically connected to the second conductive path are arranged. The pressure-detecting conductive paths intersect the first conductive path as viewed in the normal direction. Structures are disposed on a second sheet main surface not opposing the first sheet, and cause flexing of the corresponding pressure-detecting conductive path to contact the first conductive path when pressed down.

A PERFLUORONATED COPOLYMER FOR TRIBOELECTRIC SENSORS
A triboelectric-based sensor may be used to receive touch-based input from a user and control electronic devices. The triboelectric-based sensors may also provide sufficient power to operate circuitry coupled to the sensor that performs processing of the input and generation of wireless signals to transmit commands to control electronic devices wirelessly. The triboelectric-based sensors may include an active layer made from a perfluorinated copolymer, such as poly(methyl methacrylate)-co-poly(1H-1H-perfluoroctyl methacrylate) manufactured by free radical polymerization in benzene.
Wafer level packaging, optical detection sensor and method of forming same
An optical detection sensor functions as a proximity detection sensor that includes an optical system and a selectively transmissive structure. Electromagnetic radiation such as laser light can be emitted through a transmissive portion of the selectively transmissive structure. A reflected beam can be detected to determine the presence of an object. The sensor is formed by encapsulating the transmissive structure in a first encapsulant body and encapsulating the optical system in a second encapsulant body. The first and second encapsulant bodies are then joined together. In a wafer scale assembling the structure resulting from the joined encapsulant bodies is diced to form optical detection sensors.
