Lift-assist chair
A lift-assist chair is provided. The presently-disclosed lift-assist chairs can comprise a seat frame, a seat base that is pivotally coupled to the front edge of the seat frame and can be moved between a depressed position and an extended position, an arm support having a proximate end that is coupled to a lateral edge of the seat frame and a distal end that extends from the top side of the seat frame, an arm that is pivotally coupled to the arm support about a point located between a front end and a rear end of the arm, and an arm connector coupling the arm to the seat base and disposed towards the rear end of the first arm relative to the first arm support. Movement of the seat base between a depressed position and an extended position can assist an individual when sitting or standing from the chair.

Powered chairs for public venues, assemblies for use in powered chairs, and components for use in assemblies for use in powered chairs
Powered recliner chairs, assemblies for use in the chairs, and components for use in the assemblies are provided. Control systems and methods for operating powered recliner chairs are also provided. Any given chair may be locally and/or remotely controlled.
Seating Furniture Chassis
A seating furniture chassis including: a lever mechanism (2) for raising and lowering a seat face of a seating furniture item; a connecting mechanism (4) for connecting the lever mechanism (2) to the seat face; and a drive mechanism (3) for actuating the lever mechanism (2). A plane is defined by way of the connecting mechanism (4), in which plane the seat face lies in the mounted state. The seating furniture chassis (1) has a clearance below the plane, which clearance is free from the lever mechanism (2) and the drive mechanism (3). A footrest of the seating furniture item is pivotable into the clearance.
WALL HUGGER RECLINER
A wall hugger recliner with zero space technology includes a frame for placing on a floor, a seat, a backrest, a foot support, and a foot support adjustment mechanism having a first mechanical rod assembly and a first actuator for deploying and retracting the foot support. A seat backrest adjustment mechanism includes a second mechanical rod assembly for adjusting the seat and the backrest with an upright basic position into a horizontal position, wherein the seat backrest adjustment mechanism has a second actuator for adjusting the seat and the backrest.

Powered chairs for public venues, assemblies for use in powered chairs, and components for use in assemblies for use in powered chairs
A remotely controlled powered chair may include a support frame, a seat pivotally mounted on the support frame, an rotary actuator mounted between the support frame and the seat to drive the seat to move relative to the support frame, a backrest pivotally mounted on the seat, and a linear actuator mounted between the seat and the backrest to drive the backrest to move relative to the seat. Thus, the rotary actuator may be controlled by an electrically control device to drive the seat to pivot relative to the support frame reciprocally in a pendulum manner so that the seat is pivoted relative to the support frame automatically. In addition, the linear actuator may be controlled by the electrically control device to adjust the inclined angle of the backrest so as to provide a comfortable sensation to the user. A remotely controlled powered chair may include a base assembly. A chair frame is supported on the base assembly. An actuator mechanism may communicate with the base assembly and the chair frame, and is operable to actuate the chair frame between first and second positions.
