Seating furniture
An item of seating furniture, in particular an office chair, having a pedestal with a support column on which a first rotational axis for a backrest is arranged which is pivotable between an upright starting position and a reclined resting position. The backrest is articulately connected in its lower region to a seat part, and when the seat part is in one piece, the articulatable connection is provided about a second axis. When the seating furniture is in the upright starting position, the second axis is arranged below the first axis. The rear seat part is non-rotatably connected to the backrest. The front seat part or the one-piece seat part is supported by kinematicsin relation to the carrying frame. The front seat part or the one-piece seat part is lowered relative to the rear seat part or the backrest by means of kinematics when the backrest is pivoted back.
Seat device
In a configuration in which a holder holding a controller is mounted on a seat part with a plate-shaped member, the exposure of the mounting part of the plate-shaped member on which the holder is mounted is eliminated. A seat device includes a pressure sensor measuring a value relating to the seated person's state a vibration imparting device performing a vibration imparting operation, an ECU controlling the vibration imparting device corresponding to the measurement result of the pressure sensor, a holder holding the ECU, and a mounting bracket fixed to a lower frame such that the holder is mounted on the lower frame of a seat part. The mounting bracket includes a mounting projection on which a side wall of the holder is mounted in a predetermined mounting direction. When the side wall is mounted on the mounting projection, the mounting projection is covered with the side wall.

Multifunctional balance chair
The present disclosure discloses a multifunctional balance chair comprising a support portion, a seat portion, and a kneeling cushion portion. The seat portion is movably connected to the support portion, and an angle between the seat portion and the horizontal plane is controlled by relative movement between the seat portion and the support portion. The kneeling cushion portion is movably connected to the seat portion and connected to the support portion by a connecting mechanism. The kneeling cushion portion is movable between a first position aligned with the seat portion and a second position in which the kneeling cushion portion constitutes a balance chair cushion. The movement of the seat portion is linked to movement of the kneeling cushion portion.
Chair tilt mechanism
A chair can include a chair back, or backrest, that is coupled to a base of a chair above a seat of the chair. A tilt mechanism can attach the backrest to the base. In some embodiments, the tilt mechanism can be configured so that the backrest rotates about multiple pivots as it reclines from an upright position to a reclined position to drive motion of the seat during recline of the backrest.
Chair assembly
A chair assembly includes a supporting frame disposed above a base and including a first guiding groove. A seat is pivotably connected to a backrest. Lower and front guiding wheels are mounted to rear and front ends of the seat, respectively. At least one operating board includes rear and front ends respectively having second and third guiding grooves. The lower guiding wheel is movably received in the first and second guiding grooves. The front guiding wheel is movably received in the third guiding groove. A first operating rod is pivotably connected between the supporting frame and the seat. When the operating rod retracts, the lower guiding wheel is located in rear ends of the first and second guiding grooves, and the front guiding wheel is located in a rear end of the third guiding groove. The seat moves downwards and rearwards, and the front end of the seat inclines upwards.
Seating arrangement and method of construction
A seating arrangement includes a base member, and an integrally formed support member coupled to the base member and supporting a seat moveable from an upright position to a reclined position, wherein a first portion of the support member positioned rearwardly of the base member is bendable such that an upper layer of the first portion is put in tension, and wherein a second portion of the support member positioned forwardly of the base member is bendable such that a lower layer of the second portion is put in tension, wherein the upper layer of the first portion and the lower layer of the second portion are reinforced with at least one tensile substrate.
LOAD SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A body support structure includes a frame and a membrane attached to the frame. The membrane includes elastomeric filaments. The membrane includes different regions with different stiffness. The membrane may form a part of a seat or a backrest.
Chair
A chair includes a seat surface and a laterally pivotable backrest. The backrest is secured to two joints, which have mutually parallel axes of rotation.
Chair with appendage accommodations
A chair includes a back member and arm brackets. The back member is tapered toward an end that is adjacent to a seat. The arm brackets are attached under a bottom portion of the seat. Each arm bracket is adjustable to provide a seat clearance area for the seat when one or more of the arm brackets are adjusted up to approximately 90 degrees from an original upright position.
