The display apparatus includes: a display configured to display a user interface screen; an input interface configured to receive a user operation to select and execute at least one menu item included in the user interface screen; and a processor configured to separately recognize a short click and a long press based on an input time of the user operation, constantly maintain an execution speed of a function corresponding to a selected menu item within a preset critical time in the time for which the input of the long press is continued and accelerate the execution speed of the corresponding function after the preset critical time passes.

An audio device includes an audio output, a single controller, and a processor. The audio output is operable to output at a volume level. The controller is operable to receive a command from a user. The processor is operable to process the received command to provide one of multiple audio control functions that control the audio output. The multiple audio control functions include: a play mode, a pause mode, and a volume change mode. One of the multiple audio control functions is selected in response to comparing a pressing time of the controller with a first predetermined time period. The audio output is operable to output at a volume level during the play mode, to mute during the pause mode, and to the output volume level to be adjusted during the volume change mode.

A method of detecting audio input mode applied to an electronic device is disclosed. According to how the user presses the start button of the electronic device, the audio input mode is determined to be a short-press mode or a long-press mode. The method of detecting an audio input mode includes: detecting if a pressing time of the start button is less than a threshold time; if so, determining that the audio input mode is the short-press mode; if not, detecting if an audio time of the receiving audio of the microphone exceeds an audio threshold time during the pressing time; if so, determining that the audio input mode is the long-press mode; if not, determining that the audio input mode is the short-press mode.

A method of detecting audio input mode applied to an electronic device is disclosed. According to how the user presses the start button of the electronic device, the audio input mode is determined to be a short-press mode or a long-press mode. The method of detecting an audio input mode includes: detecting if a pressing time of the start button is less than a threshold time; if so, determining that the audio input mode is the short-press mode; if not, detecting if an audio time of the receiving audio of the microphone exceeds an audio threshold time during the pressing time; if so, determining that the audio input mode is the long-press mode; if not, determining that the audio input mode is the short-press mode.
