Reclinable seating apparatus
A weight-sensitive, reclinable seating apparatus that features a backrest pivot mechanism positioned entirely within the seat assembly (200) of the seating apparatus. The backrest pivot mechanism comprises a plurality of ramp assemblages positioned within the seat assembly (200), with the ramp assemblages each comprising one or more motion-facilitating components (272a, 272b, 222a, 222b, 252a, 252b) that engage one or more ramps (215a, 215b, 255a, 255b, 217a, 217b). The motion-facilitating components (272a, 272, 222a, 222b, 252a, 252b) cooperate with the ramps (215a, 215b, 255a, 255b, 217a, 217b) to provide a virtual pivot (400) for the backrest (317) that is projected above the seat surface. The backrest pivot mechanism minimizes the vertical drop of the backrest during the recline motion, which in turn minimizes the seat lift during the recline motion. By minimizing the magnitude of the backrest drop and the seat lift during a recline operation, the seating apparatus reduces the displacement of the functional pivot from the ideal pivot point as the chair reclines.
Outdoor Seating Techniques
New forms of wide-bodied, slat-constructed chairs, and methods for their use, are provided. In some embodiments, a wide-bodied, slat-constructed chair is provided which includes a reclined seatback, a sloped seat, wide-set yet thinner-than-traditional armrests, and a non-quadrilateral base. The non-quadrilateral base includes a specialized support structure with a specialized footprint, having, among other features, a generally triangular, three-legged base, having a limited footprint. In some embodiments, such a specialized support structure includes a single rear leg. In some embodiments, such a single rear leg is provided which does not extend rearward past or, in some embodiments, substantially past, the seatback of the chair.
SEAT DEVICE
Provided is a seat device including: a seat main body including a seat cushion and a seat back displaceable with respect to the seat cushion, the seat main body being capable of changing a posture between a normal posture in which the seat back is upright and a comfortable posture in which the seat back is reclined compared to the normal posture; a slide device that slidably supports the seat main body in a seat front-rear direction; and a reclining angle restriction device that regulates the maximum reclining angle of the seat back according to the position, in the seat front-rear direction, of the seat main body. The reclining angle restriction device is configured to set the maximum reclining angle when the position of the seat main body is positioned forward to be larger than the maximum reclining angle when the position of the seat main body is positioned rearward.
Flexible support device for chair back tilting
A flexible support device for chair back tilting contains: a supporting frame, a seat mounting, and a base. The supporting frame includes a back portion, two peripheral extensions, two rotatable edges, two first coupling orifices, and two second coupling orifices. The seat mounting includes a first fixing portion, a second fixing portion, two connecting fences, two rotatable locating portions, two defining orifices, two joining elements, two slide orifices, and a drive protrusion. The base includes two locating fringes with two first positioning orifices, two second positioning orifices, a holder connected with a first end of a spring, and a second end of the spring is connected with a flexible sheet. The flexible sheet has two peripheral sections. The base further includes two connection segments, and the two connection segments have two openings. Two connectors are configured to accommodate the flexible sheet and have two pegs.
ADAPTABLE SWING ASSEMBLY FOR CHAIR BACK TILT, CHAIR BACK TILT LOCKING MECHANISM AND CHASSIS
The present invention provides an adaptive swing component for chair back reclining, a chair back reclining locking mechanism and a chassis, wherein the adaptive swing component comprises a main shaft and a motion assembly, wherein the motion assembly comprises a first moving member, a track seat and a second moving member which rotate synchronously around the main shaft; the chair back reclining locking mechanism comprises the above-mentioned adaptive swing component, which has an adjustment state and a locking state, wherein in the adjustment state, the first moving member is disengaged from the second moving member, the chair back can rotate and drive the first moving member to move in the adjustment direction and rotate relative to the main shaft; and the locking mechanism is applied to the chassis; in the locking state, the first moving member is combined and locked with the second moving member to lock the current reclining angle of the chair back; the entire motion assembly is interlocked and rotates together relative to the main shaft to realize adaptive swinging and prevent motion interference and jamming; the structural locking can solve the problems of friction plate wear and failure, noise, etc., and the operation is easier, the structure is simple, and the cost is maintained at a low level.
Ergonomic motion chair
A chair that provides movement of a seat about an axis of rotation above the seat plane with the seat having a sensor in communication with a computer system that tracks movement. The seat may be simultaneously pivotable about a second axis of rotation defining a range of motion for the seat about the two axes. An actuation system in communication with the computer system can move the seat to desired positions and/or prevent the seat from being positioned at certain locations within the range of motion. The computer system may also include an application that can promote user movement within the seat and allow movement of the seat to be used for gaming, health monitoring and treatment, activity tracking, and the like. The chair may include a mechanism that has one or more glides operably received in curved structures to provide the movement about the axes.
A PIECE OF SITTING FURNITURE COMPRISING A BACKREST, A SEAT, AND A FUNCTIONAL UNIT, THE FUNCTIONAL UNIT BEING DESIGNED AND EQUIPPED TO BE ATTACHED TO A BASE, AND A USE OF THE PIECE OF SITTING FURNITURE
A piece of sitting furniture including a backrest, a seat, and a functional unit attached to a base. Each of the backrest, the seat, and the functional unit are provided with at least one hinge element. The functional unit is arranged under the seat and has a sliding bearing including a housing attached to a front of the functional unit forming an acute angle with the main plane of the functional unit. A first bearing is formed between the sliding bearing and a seat element; a first rotational bearing is formed between the seat and backrest, and the second rotational bearing is formed between the functional element and the backrest. The first and second rotational bearing are arranged at the rear of the seat, and the first rotational bearing is arranged under the second rotational bearing. The piece of seating furniture is suitable for small chairs placed next to a table.
