Medical support apparatus
A chair includes a seat, a backrest, and a leg rest. A tilt actuator and lift actuator tilt and lift the seat, respectively. A leg rest actuator extends and retracts the leg rest. A backrest actuator pivots the backrest with respect to the seat. A controller simultaneously controls the actuators such that they move sequentially between multiple predefined states. A control panel enables a user to automatically move the chair to any of the predefined states. A controller controls the actuators such that they simultaneously arrive at each state. One or more functions on a control panel may also be automatically disabled and/or automatically enabled as the chair moves into or out of certain ones of the predefined states. When transitioning between some states, all of the actuators are activated, and when transitioning between other states, only a subset of the actuators is activated.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL BALANCE CHAIR
The present disclosure discloses a multifunctional balance chair comprising a support portion, a seat portion, and a kneeling cushion portion. The seat portion is movably connected to the support portion, and an angle between the seat portion and the horizontal plane is controlled by relative movement between the seat portion and the support portion. The kneeling cushion portion is movably connected to the seat portion and connected to the support portion by a connecting mechanism. The kneeling cushion portion is movable between a first position aligned with the seat portion and a second position in which the kneeling cushion portion constitutes a balance chair cushion. The movement of the seat portion is linked to movement of the kneeling cushion portion.
RECLINING ARMCHAIR WITH LIFTING SEAT AND EXTENDING FOOTREST
An armchair comprising a seat chassis supported on a support chassis by a pair of support columns, a chair back structure pivotally attached to a rear end of the seat chassis and to the support chassis, and a leg support structure pivotally attached to a front end of the seat chassis and connected to a beam, wherein the beam is attached the chair back structure. A first actuating device is mounted to the chair back, where a protracting end of the first actuating device is connected to the seat chassis. The armchair further comprises a second actuating device mounted to the support chassis, a footrest connected to a protracting end of the second actuating device, a third actuating device attached to the seat chassis, and a seating structure connected to a protracting end of the third actuating device and mounted above the seat chassis, wherein the seating structure includes an operative position projecting upwards and forwards by the third actuating device at a tilting angle from the seat chassis.
Furniture member with compliant legrest mechanism
A legrest mechanism including a seat base rail, a mechanism rail, a drive assembly, a pivot plate link, a pivot plate, a main drive link, and a parallelogram legrest link assembly. The drive assembly moves the mechanism rail relative to the seat base rail, which drives movement of the parallelogram legrest link assembly between a retracted position and an extended position. The parallelogram legrest link assembly includes first and second legrest links, footrest and legrest drive arms, and a legrest bracket. The main drive link has a pin that is slidingly received in a slot in one of the first legrest link, second legrest link, or main drive link such that movement of the parallelogram legrest link assembly is decoupled from movement of the main drive link when the legrest and/or parallelogram legrest link assembly encounters an obstruction while moving from the extended position to the retracted position.
Rocking and reclining seating apparatus
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose reclining seating apparatus with rocking and folding features. The seating apparatus includes a body support portion pivotally connected to a stationary frame, the body support portion including a seat member and a backrest member rotatably coupled with each other, the stationary frame including a first armrest and a second armrest supported by a leg structure. Further, the seating apparatus includes a pair of flexible members configured to adjust and control at least a rocking movement, a reclining movement, or a rocking-reclining movement of the body support portion. Each flexible members is configured to link one side of a seat with the side of a backrest member by passing through guide elements in the armrests in a configuration that transfers the weight of the user sitting on the seat to forward pressure on the backrest such that a user of the chair can easily press backward with the body to recline and when sitting more upright, the chair backrest automatically follows the body to a more upright position.
Systems and methods for simultaneously controlling cinema seats
This invention relates to theater seating, and more particularly to simultaneously controlling a plurality of seats in a theater comprising a user interface and transmitter that can be used to control various elements of the seat, and a receiver and motor control unit attached to each theater seat. In some embodiments, a signal transmitter operated by an individual at a theater may simultaneously control the various elements of any group of seats.
