Signal receiving circuits including termination resistance having adjustable resistance value, operating methods thereof, and storage devices therewith
A receiving circuit includes a termination resistance circuit and a resistance adjustment circuit. The termination resistance circuit is configured to receive a first differential signal via a first input terminal and a second differential signal via a second input terminal, and to be selectively connected to the first and second input terminals. The termination resistance circuit has an adjustable resistance value. The resistance adjustment circuit is configured to decrease the resistance value of the termination resistance circuit in response to a signal reception preparation command and connection of the termination resistance circuit to the first and second input terminals.
Narrowband cancellation for received signal
Various embodiments described herein provide for narrowband cancellation for a signal received at a receiver in a communication system. In particular, some embodiments implement a narrowband canceller (NBC) that is configured to cancel a narrowband signal from a transmitted signal that is received by a first physical layer device from a second physical layer device over a communication medium.
ANALOG FRONT END NON-LINEARITY MODEL ESTIMATION
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques may enable a wireless device to determine a non-linearity (NL) model for a receiving analog front-end (RX AFE) of the wireless device in the presence of NL resulting from a transmitter used to transmit reference signals. The wireless device may determine the RX AFE NL by receiving a reference signal and processing the reference signal with a higher gain state (e.g., with low gain to result in a relatively lower RX AFE NL as compared to a lower gain state with high gain). The wireless device may accordingly separate the RX AFE NL and estimate the NL of the transmitter. The wireless device may receive and process a same reference signal via the RX AFE with a smaller gain state, and may use the processed reference signal and the estimated transmitter NL to estimate the RX AFE NL.
Nonlinear power amplifier operating mode indication
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A transmitting device may determine a power amplifier operating mode associated with non-linear distortion of an input waveform for a power amplifier, where the power amplifier operating mode may be from a set of two or more power amplifier operating modes each associated with respective amounts of the non-linear distortion. The transmitting device may transmit a set of reference signals associated with estimation of a wireless channel for a transmission, and the transmitting device may further transmit an additional set of reference signals associated with non-linear distortion mitigation for the transmission. In some examples, a resource density of the additional set of reference signals may be based on the power amplifier operating mode. In some examples, the transmitting device may transmit an indication of the power amplifier operating mode, the resource density, or both, to a receiving device.
Method and apparatus for transmitting non-linear state information for compensating nonlinearity of transmitter in wireless communication system
The present disclosure relates to a 5G communication system or a 6G communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4G communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). A method performed by a first entity transmitting data in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes detecting a nonlinearity of a transmission power of a signal transmitted from the first entity is changed, transmitting, to a second entity, a nonlinearity state indicator corresponding to the changed nonlinearity, and transmitting, to the second entity, data according to the nonlinearity state indicator.
