MODULAR DEVICE AND METHODS THEREFOR
A device (1400) includes an electronic device (100) with one or more processors (501), one or more memory devices (508), a display (101), and a first electrical connector (206). An electronic accessory module (600) includes a second electrical connector (806). A housing (1100) receives the electronic accessory module at a first end of the housing and receives the electronic device at a second end of the housing. The housing biases the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector together and couples to both the electronic device and the electronic accessory module to secure the electronic device and the electronic accessory module within the housing.
Holster providing antenna coverage
A holster (100) formed a body wearable housing (102), a cable (120), and a holster antenna (104) provide retention for a portable communication device (202) along with remote antenna coverage to another portable communication device (302) via the holster antenna (104).
Broadcast receiver and control method thereof
Disclosed is a broadcast receiver that includes an antenna connector configured to connect with an antenna for receiving a broadcast signal including broadcast content. The broadcast receiver also includes a signal processor configured to generate a reference signal having a strength corresponding to a signal input through the antenna connector and to process the generated reference signal to output an image signal for displaying the broadcast content, and a controller configured to determine whether the antenna is connected to the antenna connector based on an output value of the reference signal and to perform subsequent operations related to whether the antenna is connected based on the determination.
WEARABLE DEVICE USING MULTI-WIRE TRANSMISSION
A wearable device using multi-wire transmission is described. The wearable device using multi-wire transmission has a first fastener and a plurality of detachable second fasteners. Further, the first fastener is communicated with the second fasteners to transmit different pulse wave signals or different digital signals via multi-wire transmission when the first fastener is bonded to the second fasteners, such that all of the functional elements of the second fasteners such as a touchpad, a screen, a heating film, etc. combined with the first fastener are integrated.
Multi-mode media device operable in first and second modes, selectively
A multi-mode media system operable at a given time in one of a first or a second mode, selectively, the first mode comprising operation to access a media source co-housed with or connected to and operationally integrated with the media system and configured to stream media content to the multi-mode media system for playing by the media system, and the second mode comprising operation of the media system for controlling over a network a media source remote from the multi-mode media system for outputting media content on an output device separate from the multi-mode media system, the media system not being operable in both modes simultaneously nor operable exclusively only in a single one of such modes.
Filtering device for a PMR portable mobile terminal, and mobile terminal
A filtering device intended for being connected to a portable mobile terminal compatible with a PMR network having a wide range of receiving frequencies B.sub.i, includes a fastening system for fastening to the mobile terminal, a first radio-frequency connector intended for engaging with a radio-frequency connector of the mobile terminal, a first channel including a first filter for filtering a first receiving useful band B.sub.ui included within the band B.sub.i, and a second radio-frequency connector intended for engaging with a removable RF antenna to transmit or receive radio-frequency signals.
STABILIZING A SINGLE LEGGED SUPPORT STRUCTURE
Various techniques for stabilizing a single legged support structure are provided. In one example, the support structure is used in a GNSS surveying system. The GNSS surveying system includes a monopod, a GNSS receiver attached to an end of the monopod, a stabilizing device attached to the monopod, and a support structure releasably attached to the stabilizing device. The stabilizing device is configured to stabilize the monopod and GNSS receiver to remain upright without user support.
TRANSCEIVER PROTECTION DEVICE
A transceiver protection device includes a body operable to be coupled with a cable. The cable is operable to be coupled, via a connector of the cable, to a transceiver. A detach component is operable to receive a detach force to detach the cable from the transceiver. The detach component extends from the body such that the detach component is adjacent to the transceiver when the cable is coupled with the transceiver. A catch component extends from the body. The catch component is operable to be received in an aperture formed by a hanger of the transceiver.
Electronic apparatus
An electronic apparatus includes: a front surface member that includes a concavity in which an insertion aperture is located, the insertion aperture for receiving an object to be inserted into the insertion aperture, a bottom surface of the concavity having a support; and a cover that removably fits into the concavity to cover the insertion aperture. The cover includes a slider having an arc-shaped cross section. In a state in which the cover is fitted in the concavity, the slider of the cover contacts the support provided at the bottom surface of the concavity. When a part of the cover is pushed, the cover rotates, while the slider slides along a surface of the support.
