METHOD FOR IMPROVING PERFORMANCE OF LOW-INTERMEDIATE FREQUENCY RECEIVER, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND RECEIVER
20220224363 · 2022-07-14 ·

Disclosed in the present application are a method for improving performance of a low-intermediate frequency receiver, a storage medium, and a receiver. The method comprises: selecting a local oscillator signal from a preset local oscillator frequency set as an initial local oscillator signal to perform frequency mixing processing on an input signal, so as to obtain a low-intermediate frequency signal comprising a low-intermediate frequency useful signal and a low-intermediate frequency interference signal; determining whether an energy ratio of the low-intermediate frequency interference signal to the low-intermediate frequency useful signal is greater than a first preset ratio; and if the energy ratio is greater than the first preset ratio, selecting another local oscillator frequency from the preset local oscillator frequency set as the current local oscillator signal to process the input signal. In this way, the present application can improve the adjacent channel selectivity of a low-intermediate frequency receiver.

Radio frequency communication systems with discrete time cancellation for coexistence management
11309927 · 2022-04-19 · ·

Radio frequency (RF) communication systems with coexistence management are provided herein. In certain embodiments, a mobile device includes a first antenna, a first front end system that receives an RF receive signal from the first antenna, a first transceiver coupled to the first front end system, a second antenna, a second front end system that provides an RF transmit signal to the second antenna, and a second transceiver coupled to the second front end system. The second front end system observes the RF transmit signal to generate an RF observation signal, which is downconverted and processed by the second transceiver to generate digital observation data that is provided to the first transceiver. The first transceiver downconverts the RF receive signal to baseband, and compensates the baseband receive signal for an amount of RF signal leakage indicated by the digital observation data.

Adjacent channel suppression based on adjacent channel properties in FM radio broadcast receivers
11277162 · 2022-03-15 · ·

Exemplary aspects are directed to FM-radio circuitries and systems in which, at the receiving end of an FM broadcast transmission, circuitry is used to set the bandwidth for receiving the desired channel of the FM broadcast signal based on measured signal properties of immediately-adjacent channel(s) and based on an inverse relationship between an indication of FM modulation level of the other channel(s) and the amount for which the bandwidth is to be set. FM-signal processing circuitry such as logic/CPU circuitry, then receives the desired channel, including information carried by the FM broadcast signal, in response to setting the bandwidth based on the measured signal properties.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CONCURRENT SATELLITE POSITIONING SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATIONS OPERATION

A mobile device may be configured to perform concurrent Satellite Positioning System and communication system operation, e.g. enabling an SPS receiver to continue to receive SPS signals in frequency bands that are interfered with due to aggressor transmission signals. A controllable filter, such as a selectable and/or tunable notch or lowpass filter is used to reject the aggressor transmission signals. The controllable filter may also attenuate some, but not all, frequencies in the SPS L1 band. To avoid losing complete access to these filtered SPS signal frequencies, the controllable filter is controlled, e.g., selected or tuned to these frequencies only when the aggressor transmission signal is active, and is otherwise turned off or tuned away from the SPS signal frequencies.

A controller is configured to control the adaptive notch filter and to execute a search technique (e.g., artificial intelligence (AI) search technique) to converge on filter coefficients and to recursively adjust the filter coefficients of the adaptive notch filter in real time to adaptively adjust one or more filter characteristics (e.g., maximum notch depth or attenuation, bandwidth of notch, or general magnitude versus frequency response of notch).

METHOD FOR REAL-TIME PROCESSING OF A DETECTION SIGNAL AND A DETECTOR
20230396276 · 2023-12-07 ·

A method for real-time processing of a detection signal, wherein signal processing is respectively performed when a detection signal is converted from a high level to a low level or vice versa. A moment at which a level of the detection signal is converted is recorded as a start point. A status of the detection signal is then detected in real time at a current moment. A current time width is compared to a maximum interval width of pre-set interference signals, and signal levels are determined and recorded from the start point to the current moment. Using characteristics of different interference signals, anti-interference processing is performed by using a targeted edge positioning and width recognition method, so that the delay impact of filtering on signals is avoided, improving both the recognition precision of weighing data of a checkweigher and the overall performance of the checkweigher.
