A canopy assembly for a chair, the assembly including a first mounting fixture and a second mounting fixture; a first arm and a second arm, each arm having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of each arm is coupled to a respective mounting fixture; a first canopy support and a second canopy support, wherein the second end of each arm is coupled to a respective canopy support; a first brace and a second brace, each brace coupled between a respective arm and canopy support, with a first end of each brace being coupled to the respective arm with a slidable coupler so as to permit the rotation of the first and second canopy supports relative to the first and second arms; a cross-member coupled intermediate the first and second canopy supports, for maintaining the first and second canopy support at a predetermined spaced distance from each other; and a canopy that is at least supported by the first canopy support and the second canopy support; wherein when the canopy assembly is in a deployed position, the cross-member maintains the first and second canopy supports at the predetermined spaced distance from each other; and when the canopy assembly is in its stowed position, the cross-member maintains the first and second canopy supports at the predetermined spaced distance from each other. A folding chair frame, a folding recliner and a folding chair frame are provided. A foot tube assembly includes a front foot tube and a rear foot tube hingedly connected at a top, the rear foot tube is provided with a first connector, the front foot tube is provided with a seat tube, which has one end hinged to the front foot tube and another end hinged to the first slider, and the first slider is hinged to a backrest tube; two sets of the foot tube assemblies are oppositely provided, each rear foot tube is respectively provided with a second connector connected to a connecting tube having one end hinged thereto and another end hinged to one front foot tube, the front end of each seat tube is respectively provided with a front cross tube having one end hinged thereto and another end hinged to a bottom end of the foot tube of the other set of the foot tube assembly opposite to the foot tube assembly in which the seat tube is located. In this assembly, the front foot tubes and the rear foot tubes are unfolded by gravity and secured by the first sliders and the second sliders on the rear foot tubes, to solve the more complicated problem of manual operation on the supporting structure to achieve the folding in the conventional technology.

An armchair includes a base, a backrest pivotally connected to the base by a first rotating shaft, an armrest connected to the base and an elastic assembly fixed on the armrest. The backrest and the elastic assembly are pivotally connected by a second rotating shaft. The elastic assembly is configured to provide elastic force when the backrest swings around the first rotating shaft. The elastic assembly arranged between the backrest and the armrest permits the backrest to be able to swing relative to the base. In use, the elastic assembly controls the swing amplitude of the backrest according to the pressure exerted by the user's back on the backrest. When the user reclines backward, the elastic assembly acts as a cushion to support the backrest to slowly swing backward due to the elastic force. When the user rises, the elastic force of the elastic assembly urges the backrest to reset.

A folding chair (100) comprises as main components a mainframe (1), a seat (2) and a back leg support (3). At least one of the main components is uniplanar and the others fit within a plane of the at least one main component when the chair (100) is collapsed. The folding chair (100) uses a type A construction, and forward movement of the top of the seat (2) relative to the mainframe (1) causes the back leg support (3) to move backwards relative to the mainframe (1).
