User-involved antenna management
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications networks, a device, such as a user equipment (UE), may be configured to detect a signal blockage affecting one or more antennas of the UE. The signal blockage may be associated with the position of a body, such as a user, relative to the one or more antennas of the UE, which may include how a user places their hand on or near the device during use. The position of the body may block one or more of the antennas of the UE, causing increased signal attenuation and decreased communications performance. The UE may be configured to signal, an indication based on detecting the signal blockage.
Method and apparatus for detecting state of proximity sensor, terminal and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
A method for detecting the state of the proximity sensor, applied to a terminal including the proximity sensor and an antenna, includes: sending a predetermined instruction to the proximity sensor; determining whether the proximity sensor is abnormal based on a feedback result of the proximity sensor to the predetermined instruction; and maintaining the antenna transmitting power at a low power if the proximity sensor is abnormal. Through the feedback of the proximity sensor to the request to obtain the capacitance value, it is determined whether the proximity sensor can work normally, and in a case that the proximity sensor cannot work normally, the antenna transmitting power is reduced to avoid the continuous high antenna transmitting power due to the inability of the proximity sensor to work normally, which reduces the radiation to the human body.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first antenna, a first feeding line electrically connected to the first antenna, a second antenna, a second feeding line electrically connected to the second antenna element, a conductive line connecting a point of the first antenna or the first feeding line and a point of the second antenna or the second feeding line, and a sensor module electrically connected to a point of at least one of the first antenna element, the second antenna element, the first feeding line, the second feeding line, and the conductive line.
MACHINE LEARNING APPROACH TO MITIGATE HAND BLOCKAGE IN MILLIMETER WAVE SYSTEMS
The present disclosure provides for beam selection by a mobile device based on a sensor state of the mobile in order to mitigate hand blockage. The mobile device detects, during operation of the mobile device, a sensor state caused by a hand of an operator on the mobile device. The mobile device selects for communication, while operating in the sensor state, a refined beam set corresponding to the sensor state based on reference signals. The mobile device trains a machine learning model based on a set of training data including pairs of the sensor state and the refined beam set to select a first set of beam weights from a second set of beam weights based on a detected sensor state. The mobile device selects for communication a hand blockage state including the first set of beam weights for a current detected sensor state based on the machine learning model.
Mobile electronic device faceplate border and related methods

The radiation processing module is configured to convert after preprocessing a first signal received from the external into a second signal that can be recognized by a baseband chip of a terminal. A radiation diagnosis module is configured to extract signal characteristics expressed by the second signal, to classify signals via comparison of signal characteristics, to diagnose to acquire a signal type to which the second signal pertains, and to output the second signal to a radiation protection control module for executing a relevant protection process for the corresponding signal type. The radiation protection module is configured to acquire the second signal and the corresponding signal type thereof and to selectively execute a relevant protection control process among multiple protection processes on the basis of the corresponding signal type.

Method for reducing SAR value of mobile terminal, storage medium and mobile terminal
The invention discloses a method for reducing an SAR value of a mobile terminal, a storage medium and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: detecting and comparing signal strengths of an upper antenna and a lower antenna of the mobile terminal in real time during a call; and when it is detected that the signal strength of the upper antenna of the mobile terminal is greater than that of the lower antenna, switching the communication work of the mobile terminal to the upper antenna, and reducing the radio frequency transmitting power of the upper antenna. By adoption of the scheme, the SAR value of the mobile terminal can be reduced.
