A fastener that demountably couples the primary portion to the halo element. An antenna element positioned within the apparel item. An A/V hub is affixed to the halo portion and configured to receive audio/video input. A communications device and battery are positioned within the apparel item. A control circuit is positioned within the apparel item and communicatively coupled to the antenna element, the A/V hub, the communications device, and the battery. The A/V hub includes a microphone. The control circuit is configured to establish a self-organizing wide area network with a plurality of computing devices that connect directly, dynamically, and non-hierarchically to the WAN.
Determining measurement confidence for data collected from sensors of a wearable device
Systems and methods determining measurement confidence for data collected from sensors of a wearable device are herein disclosed. In an implementation, a confidence measurement that a wearable device is worn by a user can be determined by determining that the wearable device is not in motion, comparing sample voltages collected using a light emitter to thresholds indicative of a surface on which the light is being reflected, calculating a signal quality metric using data collected using a pulse oximeter, and comparing the signal quality metric to thresholds indicative of typical biometric data measurements. Other implementations for confidence measurement can include frequency transforming signal data stored in a buffer, performing probabilistic modelling on the frequency transformed data, and determining a confidence measurement using a signal quality estimation based on the modelled data.
Public Safety Smart Belt
A smart belt system includes a belt having a plurality of holders for holding a plurality of devices including a firearm, a baton, and an electroshock weapon, a GPS component disposed within the belt configured to track the location and movement of the belt, a microprocessor disposed within the belt, logic instructions executing by the microprocessor configured to monitor and regulate the activities of the plurality of devices and location and movement data generated by the GPS component, a wireless data communications system wirelessly communicating with an external data communications system, a data storage component accessible by the microprocessor for storing activity data of the plurality of the devices and the location and movement data of the belt generated by the GPS component.
Mobile terminal
The present invention relates to a clip-type mobile terminal which can be conveniently placed on various parts of the body and other objects. The clip-type mobile terminal comprises a case defining the exterior of the mobile terminal, a display panel disposed on the front surface part of the case, and a battery disposed on the rear surface part of the case. The case comprises a first frame supporting the display panel, a second frame supporting the battery, and a connection frame connecting one side of the first frame and one side of the second frame. Here, the first frame and the second frame may be spaced apart from each other by a certain gap.
System and method for transmitting information about task to external device
A method and a system for an external device with information about a task being performed by a user device are provided. The method includes receiving information about the task being performed by the user device, identifying a plurality of external devices located near a wearable device of a user of the user device, determining a first external device to continuously perform the task from among the plurality of external devices based on the information about the task and characteristics information about the identified external devices, and transmitting the information about the task to the first external device.
Multi-Configuration Clamp System For Electronic Device
A support system which allows for the use and mounting of a smart phone, or similar electronic device, in a variety of ways. The support system may be adapted to function as a hand grip while supporting the smart phone during image acquisition, or while watching images on the smart phone. In another configuration, the support system may be adapted to attach to the user's belt. In another configuration, the support system may function as a support stand. In another configuration, the support system may be mounted on a tripod. The support system may include a kit of parts which allow for the modification of support accessories to allow for different configurations. The support system may include a removable shutter which may actuate the camera functions via wireless communication.
PORTABLE MOBILE DEVICE HOLDER
A portable mobile device holder that includes a plurality of concentrically-connected frames. The intermediate protective frame, is selectively moveable by a user between a stowed position and a deployed position in which the intermediate protective frame is pivoted outwardly relative to the outer protective frame to orient the mobile device at an approximately 90 degree position relative to the outer protective frame and facilitate hands-free use of the mobile device by a user. The mobile device is mounted on the inner protective frame defining, which is selectively moveable by the user between a stowed position and a deployed position in which the inner protective frame is selectively rotated by the user between approximately 0 to 360 degrees about its longitudinal axis relative to the intermediate protective frame.
BASE STATION AND WIRELESS TERMINAL APPARATUS AND TRANSMISSION METHOD
The present disclosure provides a method of generating codebook in a wireless communication system with multiple antenna arrays, as well as a wireless communication system, base station and terminal using the codebook for communication. The method comprises steps of: providing a basic codebook which contains multiple pre-coding matrices; and assigning phase offsets to certain pre-coding matrices in the basic codebook to form a codebook with phase offset. The feedback overhead from a client to a base station side is reduced and a good precision of feedback for multi-antenna array is kept by applying the method of generating codebook and using the generated codebook in the wireless communication system, base station and terminal.
System and method for signal interference rejection using human body communication
A communication interference rejection system comprising a receiver operatively connected to a device connected to a body of a user. The receiver is configured to receive a signal transmitted through the body of the user, the signal comprising a data component and an interference component, the interference component due to human body antenna effect. The receiver is configured to integrate the signal using a relatively low-gain analog integrator and then digitally differentiate the output of said integration.
Method, electronic device, and storage medium for detecting biometric information
An electronic device may include: a housing; a display configured to be viewed through a first portion of the housing; a photoplethysmogram sensor exposed through a second portion of the housing and configured to measure a biometric signal from a body part of a user while being in contact with the body part of the user; a fastening structure connected to the housing and configured to be attached to the body part of the user; a wireless communication circuit; a processor provided inside the housing and operatively connected to the display, the photoplethysmogram sensor, and the wireless communication circuit; and a memory operatively connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions, when executed, to allow the processor to: receive data from the photoplethysmogram sensor; determine a first parameter; determine a distance between the body part of the user and the fastening structure; and provide user guidance information on the display.
