RADIO FREQUENCY REMOTE HEAD FRONT-END CIRCUITRY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Techniques for implementing and/or operating a radio frequency system, which includes a logic board that outputs an analog electrical signal indicative of data to be wirelessly transmitted from the radio frequency system and a remote head. The remote head includes an antenna that generates an electromagnetic wave to facilitate wirelessly transmitting the data, an antenna integrated circuit implemented using a first semiconductor manufacturing technique, in which the antenna integrated circuit amplifies the analog electrical signal to generate a first amplified analog electrical signal, and a remote front-end integrated circuit coupled between the antenna integrated circuit and the antenna. The remote front-end integrated circuit is implemented using a second semiconductor manufacturing technique different from the first semiconductor manufacturing technique and amplifies the first amplified analog electrical signal based on a target output power of the antenna to generate a second amplified analog electrical signal indicative of the data.
Secure payment using a network of wearable devices
Systems and methods using a network of wearable devices to support secure payment for a user are described. The network of wearable devices may include a wearable secure unit including a first short-range transceiver, a wearable sensory unit including a second short-range transceiver, and a wearable communication unit including a third short-range transceiver and a long-range transceiver. The systems and methods may include receiving a transaction request from a merchant device. Thereafter, the systems and methods may obtain information from the wearable secure unit configured to provide an environment in which processes and data are securely stored and executed. The systems and methods may also obtain information from the wearable sensory unit configured to capture and compare biometrics of the user with a stored profile. Based on the obtained information, the systems and methods may instruct the wearable communication unit to transmit to the merchant device user authentication data.
Storage apparatus and methods of storing and using electronic devices during charging
A storage apparatus for storing an electronic device coupled to an electrical outlet via a charging apparatus that includes an electrical cord connected to a plug inserted into the electrical outlet. The storage apparatus has a lower portion defining a compartment in which the device may be inserted and stored. An upper portion of the storage apparatus is configured to hang the storage apparatus from the plug of the charging apparatus while the plug is inserted into the electrical outlet to thereby support the lower portion and the device stored therein.
Efficient Dual-Polarization Multi-Input And Multi-Output System
Systems and methods for extracting polarized sub-signals from a dual-polarized signal includes isolating the polarized sub-signals using one or more filters. When a single filter is used to derive a first sub-signal, analog interference cancellation may be used to derive the second sub-signal. When two filters are used, the first and second sub-signals may each be derived using a corresponding filter.
Method and apparatus for displaying an image from a communications device
A holster is provided to receive a radio (mobile communications device). The radio is operatively equipped with a front-facing touchscreen. The holster is equipped with an optical reflector. The optical reflector is adapted to change the direction of light rays passing through it in order to reflect only a portion of the front-facing touchscreen to a top window located within the holster. The top window and the touchscreen are substantially perpendicular to each other. The holster is equipped with at least one capacitive touch extension element that couples the top window to a point on the touchscreen to control an interface element on the touchscreen.
CELLULAR SERVICE ACCOUNT TRANSFER FOR ACCESSORY WIRELESS DEVICES
This Application describes efficient cellular service transfer mechanisms to move cellular services that are based on cellular service credentials, e.g., eSIMs, between accessory wireless devices under various scenarios, including in some embodiments transfer of multiple eSIMs. The first and second accessory wireless devices and the primary wireless device are associated with a common user account. Transfer of credentials for cellular service access can occur between two accessory wireless devices via the primary wireless device, where the primary wireless device and the accessory wireless devices interact with applicable network-based servers.
WEARABLE ANTENNA SYSTEM
Wearable antenna systems in the form of suspenders are disclosed. Such communications suspenders may employ antenna elements having a reduced visual signature while maintaining the load bearing functionality of traditional suspenders. The antenna system can establish mesh networking communications and communicatively couple to portable radios via a communications device. Some of the antenna elements may be within the communications suspenders. A plurality of straps are pivotably coupled to an intermediate portion at one end and a demountable fastener at the other end that couples to the user's garment item (e.g., trousers, shorts, skirts, and similar articles). The straps may include RF shielding material positioned to reflect RF radiation that emanates from the antenna elements away from the user. The antenna elements may be formed using a conductive composition that includes fully exfoliated graphene sheets present as a percolated network in a polymer matrix.
Tethered phone case and holder assembly
A tethered phone case and holder assembly for convenient carrying and damage prevention includes a pouch apparatus, a case apparatus, and a tether apparatus. The pouch apparatus comprises a pouch body defining a pouch interior and a clip coupled to a pouch back side to selectively engage a user's belt or waistline. The case apparatus comprises a case body defining a case interior. The case body is selectively engageable within the pouch interior. The case interior selectively receives a smartphone. A cable attachment is coupled to the case body. The tether apparatus comprises a cable compartment coupled to the pouch body. A tether cable is coupled to a cable spool within the cable compartment and extends out to couple with the cable attachment of the case apparatus.
Multiple object location assembly
A multiple object location assembly includes a tracking unit that is wearable on a user. The tracking unit has a plurality of communication channels that is each programmable to have a distance alarm is set to a pre-determined trigger distance. A plurality of transmitting units is provided and each of the transmitting units broadcasts a tracking signal to the tracking unit. each of the transmitting units is coupled to a respective one of a plurality of objects and the tracking signal broadcast by each of the transmitting units is associated with the respective object. Each of the transmitting units is assigned to a respective one of the communication channels in the tracking unit. Moreover, the distance alarm in a respective one of the communication channels is turned on when the transmitter assigned to the respective communication channel moves beyond the pre-determined trigger distance from the tracking unit.
SELF-ORGANIZING COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK NODES AND SYSTEMS
A communications node includes an apparel item in the form of a shoulder belt that includes an open state, closed state, and main body. A first portion curvingly extends from the main body. A second portion angularly extends from the main body opposite the first portion. A primary fastener demountably couples the first and second portions together when in the closed state. An antenna element and communications device are positioned within the apparel item. An hub is affixed to the apparel item and configured to receive audio/video input. A battery is positioned adjacent to the apparel item. A control circuit is positioned within the apparel item and coupled to the antenna element, hub, communications device, and battery.
