A system includes a method for detecting a signal interference in a communication signal of a wireless communication system. An identified source of the signal interference is determined according to an interference profile of a plurality of interference profiles associated with an interference profile library having information that approximates characteristics of the signal interference. The signal interference of the communication signal is mitigated according to an interference parameter associated with the identified source by filtering the communication signal according to the interference parameter.

A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method for measuring a power level in at least a portion of a plurality of resource blocks occurring in a radio frequency spectrum, wherein the measuring occurs for a plurality of time cycles to generate a plurality of power level measurements, calculating a baseline power level according to at least a portion of the plurality of power levels, determining a threshold from the baseline power level, and monitoring at least a portion of the plurality of resource blocks for signal interference according to the threshold. Method for hybrid precoding and communication device
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method for hybrid precoding and a communication device. For example, at a communication device in a wireless communication system, a plurality of signals associated with a pilot are received from a plurality of antennas of a further communication device over a wireless channel. Then, angle-domain characteristics of the wireless channel are determined based on the plurality of signals, and spatial correlation characteristics of the wireless channel is determined based on the determined angle-domain characteristics. Moreover, since complete channel state information is no longer needed in determining the spatial correlation characteristics of the wireless channel, the pilot-related signals shorten in the time are sent from the transmitter end to the receiver end. There is further disclosed a communication device capable of implementing the above method.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING SUB-BAND WHITENING IN THE PRESENCE OF PARTIAL-BAND INTERFERENCE
A method and system for providing sub-band whitening are herein provided. According to one embodiment, a method estimating an interference whitening (IW) factor based on a legacy-long training field (LLTF) signal, updating the estimated IW factor during transmission of a data symbol, and scaling the data symbol based on the updated IW factor and the estimated IW factor.
Spreading a response signal using a first set of orthogonal sequences and a reference signal using a second set of shorter orthogonal sequences
A radio communication apparatus includes spreading circuitry that spreads a response signal using a first set of orthogonal sequences to produce a spread response signal. Each orthogonal sequence in the first set has a first length. The spreading circuitry also spreads a reference signal using a second set of orthogonal sequences to produce a spread reference signal. Each orthogonal sequence in the second set has a second length that is shorter than the first length. A radio transmitter transmits the spread response signal and the spread reference signal.

A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device comprising a memory to store instructions and a processor coupled to the memory, wherein responsive to executing the instructions, the processor performs operations. The operations comprise receiving signals over a spectrum of frequencies, providing location data of the device to a base station, receiving a request from a base station to perform a spectral analysis of the signals, detecting an interference among the signals, and providing, in response to the request, data to the base station regarding a source of the interference, wherein the data comprises a location of the source relative to the device, spectral data for identifying the source, and a time a frequency of occurrence of the interference.
