A wireless communication-based casualty reporting, responder-ready emergency application system permits users to notify one or more pre-programmed responders of an emergency event so that an emergency alert can be broadcast to notify the users in the facility/site of the emergency. The system includes a check-in and verification component to provide access with respect to each specific facility/site. The system further includes a data storage provision coupled with the main application and is configured to maintain logs of alert events and other relevant information for future reference to build protocols and check for any patterns. To facilitate these operations, the system is programmed to relay crisis management plans and standard emergency protocols to users within a facility/site when an emergency event arises.

The present invention provides a transmitter which can suitably perform a transmission power control in a PT-RS port. In this transmitter (100), a control unit (101) determines a transmission power for transmitting a reference signal (PT-RS) for phase tracking and a data signal within a range in which the maximum transmission power for each antenna port is not exceeded. In addition, a transmission unit (105) transmits the reference signal for phase tracking and the data signal at the transmission power determined by the control unit (101).

A communication system for a vehicle is provided. The system includes a transmitter, first and second antennas and a splitter. The transmitter outputs transmission signals. The second antenna is spaced from the first antenna to provide spatial diversity between the transmission signals radiated out by the first and second antennas. The splitter has an input that is in communication with an output of the transmitter. The splitter has a first output that is in communication with the first antenna and a second output that is in communication with the second antenna. The splitter is configured to provide an unequal passive power splitting between the first output and the second output of the splitter.

Precoding techniques for wireless communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a base station may identify a null space matrix that lies within a null space of an effective channel matrix for communications between the base station and a user equipment (UE). An indication of the null space matrix may be provided to the UE, and the null space matrix used to determine modifications to a precoding matrix. The base station and UE may determine a redistribution matrix that provides a reduced variance of transmission powers for a number of transmission channels, where a product of the null space matrix and the redistribution matrix may be computed and added to the precoding matrix to generate a modified precoding matrix. The modified precoding matrix may be used to generate the communications from the base station and UE with reduced power variance across channels.
