OPTIMISATION OF NETWORK PARAMETERS FOR ENABLING NETWORK CODING

Methods and devices for propagating transactions in a network of nodes, each node having one or more connections to other nodes. The method includes receiving a plurality of incoming transactions over a time period; combining the plurality of incoming transactions using network coding to generate a composite message; sending the composite message to one or more nodes in the network; and determining an adjusted time period based on an equilibrium constant parameter and a count of transactions in the plurality of incoming transactions received over the time periodk.

Signal bouncing local mesh network to locate entities in remote areas

A search and rescue (from hereon, SAR) optimization/prevention system is set forth, for ensuring the safety and connectivity of people in locations such as but not limited to national parks, hiking trails, mountains, lakes, rivers, forests, and other areas that do not receive (or receive inconsistently) reliable cellular, satellite, or GPS network connectivity. The mesh network system comprises wearable devices used by the person being located, and transceivers responsible for getting a signal from the user to a responder via the bouncing of a signal. Once a signal is received at a designated transceiver, the system may output information about the at least approximate location and condition of the user that transmitted the signal, including the approximate location, time of distress, and other pertinent data, based on information carried in the signal.

Wireless communication device

In accordance with an embodiment, a wireless communication device constituting a wireless mesh network that transmits information through multi-hop communication comprises a communication section configured to transmit a message addressed to a wireless communication device different from its own wireless communication device through broadcast communication on a first frequency channel; and a control section configured to change a communication channel of the communication section from the first frequency channel to a second frequency channel for communication of a response signal responding to the message after the message is transmitted by the communication section.

REDUCING FEEDBACK LATENCY FOR NETWORK CODING IN WIRELESS BACKHAUL COMMUNICATIONS NETWORKS

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node of a wireless backhaul communications network may receive, from a central unit node, a configuration indicating that network coding is activated for a packet flow. In some cases, the IAB node may receive, from a second access node, a first packet of the packet flow via a first wireless link and transmit, via a second wireless link, a first encoded packet that is generated based on network encoding the first packet. In some cases, the IAB node may receive, from one or more access nodes, a set of encoded packets of the packet flow, and the IAB node may transmit a feedback message, via a second wireless link, indicating that network decoding of the set of encoded packets to recover a plurality of packets is successful or unsuccessful.

Relaying vehicular communications using network coding

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may identify two or more peer-to-peer (P2P) communications to be combined based at least in part on a respective location of each of two or more originating UEs from which the two or more P2P communications are received; combine the two or more P2P communications, using network coding, to form a combined P2P communication; and transmit the combined P2P communication. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Repeater Compatibility Verifier For Wireless Power Transmission System

A modular wireless power transfer system includes a first wireless transmission system and a wireless repeater system. The first wireless transmission system is configured to receive input power from an input power source, generate AC wireless signals, and couple with the wireless repeater system. A magnetic sensor system in the first wireless transmission system senses a magnet of specific strength in a specific location on the wireless repeater system. Based on the presence of absence of such a magnet, the first wireless transmission system allows or disallows, respectively, the transmission of the AC wireless signals to the wireless repeater system.

An ultrawideband radio transceiver/repeater provides a low cost infrastructure solution that merges wireless and wired network devices while providing connection to the plant, flexible repeater capabilities, network security, traffic monitoring and provisioning, and traffic flow control for wired and wireless connectivity of devices or networks. The ultrawideband radio transceiver/repeater can be implemented in discrete, integrated, distributed or embedded forms.

ADAPTIVE RELAYING IN A NON-ORTHOGONAL MULTIPLE ACCESS (NOMA) COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A relay-based data transmission approach to improve the reliability and/or the energy efficiency of uplink NOMA. A relay node (RN) is employed to improve the performance of both weak and strong UEs. In some embodiments, superposition coding and NOMA-based transmission are applied at the RN and the UEs, respectively, to improve the achievable rates of the UEs.

Relay Dock and Base Station with Position Information Based Directional Wave Forming

A wireless communication system comprises a base station and one or more relay docks and transmits directional wave signals between components using high frequency waves, such as millimeter waves. A beam forming decision engine utilizes position information collected from one or more position or motion sensors of a user device to determine a direction in which to form a directional wave signal being transmitted between components of the wireless communication system.
