The apparatus may receive, for a citizens broadband radio service (CBRS) band, time division duplex (TDD) configuration preferences. The apparatus may select, based at least in part on the TDD configuration preferences, a TDD configuration, from a plurality of possible TDD configurations. The apparatus may transmit selection information identifying the selected TDD configuration.
Method and apparatus for receiving reference signals in support of flexible radio communication
A method and apparatus include scanning one or more frequencies within a predetermined spectrum space designated for use by the communication network. Synchronization signals are detected on a first frequency of the scanned one or more frequencies, and a first identity value is determined from the detected synchronization signals. The method further includes receiving a first reference signal based on the determined first identity value, and receiving a broadcast channel. The broadcast channel is then decoded based on the received first reference signal, and identifying from the decoded broadcast channel a second identity value. A second reference signal is then received, based upon the first identity value and the second identity value.

Synchronization signals are detected on a first frequency of the scanned one or more frequencies, and a first identity value is determined from the detected synchronization signals. The method further includes receiving a first reference signal based on the determined first identity value, and receiving a broadcast channel. The broadcast channel is then decoded based on the received first reference signal, and identifying from the decoded broadcast channel a second identity value. A second reference signal is then received, based upon the first identity value and the second identity value.
Method and Apparatus for Receiving Reference Signals in Support of Flexible Radio Communication
A method and apparatus include receiving a measurement configuration by higher layer signaling, where the higher layer signaling is above the physical layer. The measurement configuration includes at least information of frequency location of synchronization signals, a carrier frequency, and a maximum allowed measurement bandwidth. A measurement reference signal is then received based on the received measurement configuration, and a measurement based on the received measurement reference signal is performed.
