A SEAT BACK SUPPORT
A seat back support with an adjustable support curvature, the support including: a frame; at least one elongate deformable member extending between side portions of the frame; and an elongate adjustment element that intersects one or more of the at least one deformable member(s), wherein manipulation of the adjustment element adjusts the deformation of the one or more deformable member(s) with which it intersects to adjust the curvature of the back support.
ADJUSTABLE LUMBAR SUPPORT FOR UPHOLSTERY FURNITURE
An adjustable lumbar support mechanism and motion upholstery furniture having the same are provided. The adjustable lumbar support mechanism includes a lumbar support member that is coupled to a lumbar support link. The lumbar support link is coupled to a lumbar support mounting plate. An actuating mechanism is coupled to the lumbar support link such that when an extendable shaft of the actuating mechanism shifts from a retracted to an extended configuration, the lumbar support member rotates away from a back portion of a seat back and towards the seat to provide lumbar support to an occupant sitting in the furniture.

Adjustable lumbar support
An adjustable lumbar support system for a chair having a single swing bar. An actuator is mounted between the lumbar support base and the chair frame and may be motorized. Extending the extension shaft of the actuator provides additional support to a user seated in the chair.
Mobile ergonomic rotating adjustable chair with lumbar support
An apparatus for sitting, including: a keystone assembly which connects various parts of the apparatus; a back that provides support for at least a person's back or shoulders; a floating lumbar support, which provides support for a person's lower back, attached to the keystone assembly; a seat that can adjust between a forward tilted and reclined position; a plurality of rollers, disposed on the keystone assembly, on which the seat rests; a central column, attached to the keystone assembly, on which the seat can spin; and a lower torsion spring connected to the seat and disposed on the keystone assembly allowing controlled movement of the seat.
MULTI-GEAR SUPPORTING AND ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM, AND ADJUSTABLE SEAT
A multi-gear adjustable support mechanism includes a base plate, a support plate, a support element, a gear forming element having gear grooves and a limiting part and a gear controller having an abutting part and a platform. The support element includes a support crossbar for supporting the support plate at a different angle from the base plate. A moving surface of the gear forming element bears and supports the movement of the support crossbar. The platform is aligned with the moving surface at the position of the gear groove closest to the limiting part when the support crossbar moves and reaches the limiting part. The support crossbar moves on the surface of the platform part and passes the gear groove when the support crossbar returns from the limiting part. An adjustable seat is provided including the multi-gear adjustable support mechanism.
Passenger seat dress cover with integrated adjustable lumbar support device
A dress cover installable over a seatback of a passenger seat and having an integrated adjustable lumbar support device is disclosed. In embodiments, the dress cover includes a fabric outer shell and a seat cushion within the outer shell. The lumbar support device is disposed inside a pocket set into the dress cover and corresponding to the lumbar area of the seat occupant. The pocket extends laterally between left-side and right-side slots, each slot held closed by a zipper within which a slider tracks up and down to adjust the lumbar support device. As the slider tracks along the zipper it opens and closes the zipper within the body of the slider, maintaining its slot in a closed configuration. By adjusting the sliders up or down, the occupant may adjust the position of the lumbar support device through the dress cover.
Chair assemblies, systems, and apparatuses having integrated technologies, and related methods
This disclosure is directed to improved chair assemblies that can be integrated with various technologies, including heating, massaging technologies, cooling, and other technologies. Various portions of the chair assemblies include attachment structures that permit electronic assemblies to be attached and removed from the chair assemblies. The electronic assemblies can include electronics that facilitate heat therapy, massage therapy, and/or cooling therapy functions.
CHAIR HAVING OPEN SHOULDER BACKREST
An ergonomically improved chair in which the user's thoracic region is supported by a narrow and generally flat or moderately convex thoracic cushion in the midrest region of the chairback. The design omits or greatly minimizes support for the user's scapulae and other areas of the back outside the thoracic region, excepting lumbar and cervical support features in some embodiments. The design differs from the prior art at least in that the thoracic cushion is narrow and configured not to complement that user's spinal curvature. By appropriate selection and design, a chair incorporating the invention may comprise a fabric covering portions of the chairback without significantly affecting functionality. Other embodiments include a chairback comprising regions having differing levels of firmness and/or differing cushion height at appropriate regions to promote concentrated support of the user's thoracic region.
DOUBLE ANGLE BACK SUPPORT ADJUSTMENT
A chair is described herein. The chair includes a first back support coupled to a base of the chair using one or more first support arms. The chair also includes a second back support coupled to the base of the chair using one or more second support arms. The first and second back supports are independently rotatable about a common axis.
