The air bladder assembly includes a plurality of air bladders supported on a platform assembly. Each air bladder includes a body portion operable between deflated and inflated conditions. Each air bladder includes a connection stem. A support plate includes a plurality of access apertures disposed therethrough. The air bladder assembly is operably coupled to the support plate. Each air bladder is aligned with at least one access aperture of the plurality of access apertures. A carrier assembly includes a plurality of mounting apertures disposed through an outer surface thereof. The carrier assembly receives the connection stem of each air bladder through at least one mounting aperture of the plurality of mounting apertures. Each air bladder may include a release valve for releasing air therethrough.
CONVEYANCE SEAT
A conveyance seat capable of suppressing wrinkles or saggings from occurring on a surface of a seat main body is provided. A conveyance seat S includes a seat back and a movable body which is attached inside the seat back, is disposed at an outer position in relation to a center portion of the seat back, and is operated so that a side portion of the seat back protrudes toward a seated occupant side (seat front side). The movable body is disposed on a back surface of a cushion material in the side portion. An end portion (rear end portion) on the side opposite to the seated occupant side of the movable body is disposed on the seated occupant side (seat front side) in relation to a seating surface of the center portion of the seat back.
ANTI-FATIGUE SEATING SYSTEM
A seating system includes a configurable electro-pneumatic mechanical device designed to be installed on any seat that is occupied for an extended period. The seating system incorporates a sequential stimulus process that is programmable and configurable to a user's needs. The seating system is adaptable and can be used in automotive, commercial vehicles, office chairs, lounging chairs, gaming chairs, hospitals, waiting rooms, theaters, schools, aviation and many military environments. In various embodiments, this invention is a completely new seating experience. The seating system, when added to any chair, combats static seating fatigue due to the absence of muscular contraction.
Seat adjustment device
To provide a seat adjustment device capable of flexibly changing a shape of a seat. A seat adjustment device for adjusting a shape of a seat includes a pad including an elastomer, and airbags disposed on a front surface and a rear surface of the pad. The airbags are adjustable in amount of air therein. The airbags include a first airbag disposed on one of the front and rear surfaces and of the pad, and a second airbag disposed on the other. The first airbag is longer than the second airbag in a direction substantially perpendicular to the front and rear surfaces of the pad. The second airbag is longer than the first airbag in a direction substantially parallel to the front and rear surfaces of the pad.
Balancing pressure bearing apparatus
A balancing pressure bearing apparatus including a connecting base and bearing components is provided. Inside the connecting base is any material selected from a volume-incompressibe fluid, semifluid and elastic element, and arranged thereabove is each bearing component. The bearing components have bearing surfaces for supporting any pressing-down human body part and pressure reduction. When the connecting base is pressed down, a Pascal phenomenon is generated for a pressure applied to the fluid, semifluid or elastic element inside the connecting base to be transmitted equally in all directions. Each portion thereof has the same pressure for balancing pressure of the supportive bearing surfaces pressed by any two human body parts, thereby reducing and balancing pressures thereon to achieve a more comfortable contact sensation of pressure release and a correct posture effect. Hence, the invention can serve as a cushion, seat, backrest, mattress or pillow product.
Pump and valve combination for bladder adjustment
A pump and valve combination for bladder adjustment is revealed and including a fluid supply member, a valve member and a bypass line. The fluid supply member includes a head end and a tail end. A bottom cover is disposed on the tail end and the fluid supply member provides fluid to the bottom cover through the tail end. The valve member is arranged at the head end and communicating with bladders. The valve member includes a valve cap fixed on the head end, a solenoid operated directional control valve, and an air supply tube. Two ends of the bypass line are connected to the bottom cover and an air input end of the air supply tube, respectively. An input portion and an output portion of the solenoid operated directional control valve are connected to an air output end of the air supply tube and the bladder respectively.
Active Posture Management
An apparatus for managing posture may comprise a back support, a sensor unit coupled to the back support, a posture manipulator coupled to the back support, and a controller coupled to the sensor unit and to the posture manipulator. The controller may be configured to receive a feedback signal from the sensor unit indicative of posture, and to operate the posture manipulator based on the feedback signal. Some embodiments of the apparatus may be configured to compare the feedback signal to a posture model and operate the posture model based on a difference between the feedback signal and the posture model. The sensor unit may comprise one or more sensors for determining various biometric and biomechanical parameters.
AIR BAG AND VEHICLE SEAT DEVICE
An air bag includes a bag portion formed by bonding two sheet members together. The bag portion includes an expansion portion including an annular joining portion extending in an annular shape, and a passage portion including a pair of parallel linear joining portions and connected to the expansion portion. Air filled in the bag portion flows through an internal space of the expansion portion surrounded by the annular joining portion and a passage sandwiched between the linear joining portions defining the passage portion. At a connection portion between the expansion portion and the passage portion, the linear joining portions extend in parallel, or the linear joining portions extend so as to expand toward a deep side of the passage from an opening position of the passage with respect to the internal space of the expansion portion.
Portable seat cushion
A portable seat and back cushion for posture correction. The device includes a seat member with an inflatable bladder or a foam insert and a back member that is foldably connected to the seat member. A customizable support member is disposed within the back member. The customizable support member may include either an inflatable bladder with a plurality of individually adjustable bubbles arranged in a vertical row or a semi-rigid insert with a plurality of selectively positionable vertebral support nodules.
