LUMBAR SUPPORT SEAT
20200138197 · 2020-05-07 ·

The disclosure relates to the field of seat design and manufacture, in particular to a lumbar support seat. The disclosure is achieved by the following technical solution: a lumbar support seat, comprising a lumbar support and a gas spring; the lumbar support closely fits with the back of human body through the expansion of the gas spring when the back is moved, to provide continuous and uniform uplift force. An object of the disclosure is to overcome defects of the prior art and provide a lumbar support seat. When the user moves on the seat back and forth, the lumbar support may move synchronously in contact with the back of the human body, to fit with the waist in real time, thereby increasing the supporting force in waist position of the human body.

INTEGRATED WELLNESS SYSTEM FOR STATIONARY UNITS
20200143929 · 2020-05-07 ·

An integrated wellness system uses biometric sensor data received from an integrated stationary unit to generate user-specific wellness mappings and to automatically adjust one or more components of the stationary unit. Sensors in the integrated stationary unit transmit biometric sensor data to an integrated online system responsive to detecting that a user is interacting with the integrated stationary unit. Modules of the online system input the received sensor data into a trained configuration model that outputs a recommended optimal configuration of the integrated stationary unit for the user and instruct the integrated stationary unit to configure one or more components according to the recommended configuration. In some embodiments, the online system instructs the integrated stationary unit to further modify one or more components based on user input through a wellness application executing on a client device.

VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat includes a seat back frame with an upper subframe pivot. A seat back subframe is pivotably connected to the seat back frame at the upper subframe pivot. An actuation assembly pivotably moves the seat back subframe relative to the seat back frame about the upper subframe pivot, between a seat back subframe design position and a subframe recline position. In the recline position a lower edge of the seat back subframe is positioned outwardly relative to the seat back frame with the seat back subframe pivoted to an angle relative to the seat back frame.

Thoracic air bladder assembly

A seat air bladder assembly is provided with at least one central air bladder region having a support surface. At least one pair of lateral air bladder regions extend from opposed sides of the at least one central bladder region. The at least one pair of lateral air bladder regions are oriented at a non-zero angle to incline laterally and support a thoracic region of a seat occupant. A seat assembly is provided with a seat back with a contact surface with a thoracic region. An air bladder assembly is oriented within the thoracic region of the seat back with a support surface that is reclined relative to the contact surface to provide support, and wedge-shaped so that during inflation the air bladder assembly inflates in an upward and forward direction relative to the seat back.

Adjustable back support assembly for the back of a chair
10561248 · 2020-02-18 ·

An adjustable back support assembly coupled to the back of a chair in which a user sits with his back spaced from the chair back. The adjustable back support assembly includes a back support that is pivotally connected to the back of the chair by a hinge. The back support is rotatable at the hinge away from the chair back and towards the back of the user to provide support thereto. The back support assembly also includes a gas cylinder having a retractable piston. The gas cylinder is connected between the back support of the adjustable back support assembly and an upstanding rigid chair backing within the back of the chair. When the retractable piston is forced outwardly from the gas cylinder, a linear pushing force is correspondingly generated by the piston to cause the back support to rotate away from the chair back and towards the back of the user.
