GROUP-BASED BEAM MANAGEMENT
A WTRU may include a memory and a processor. The processor may be configured to receive beam grouping information from a gNB or transmission and reception point (TRP). The beam grouping information may indicate a group of beams that the WTRU may report using group-based reporting. The group-based reporting may be a reduced level of reporting compared to a beam-based reporting. The group-based report may include measurement information for a representative beam. The representative beam may be one of the beams in the group or represents an average of the beams in the group. Alternatively, the representative beam may be a beam that has a maximum measurement value compared to other beams in the group. The group-based report may include a reference signal received power (RSRP) for the representative beam and a differential RSRP for each additional beam in the beam group.
Scheduling Request for Beam Failure Recovery and Buffer Status Reporting
A wireless device transmits a first scheduling request (SR) in response to initiating a beam failure recovery procedure. A second SR for a buffer status reporting procedure is transmitted. A downlink control information comprising an uplink grant is received via a downlink control channel while the first SR and the second SR are pending. Based on the reception of the downlink control information: the second SR for the buffer status reporting procedure is cancelled, and the first SR for the beam failure recovery procedure is kept pending.
Scheduling Request for Beam Failure Recovery and Buffer Status Reporting
A wireless device transmits a first scheduling request (SR) in response to initiating a beam failure recovery procedure. A second SR for a buffer status reporting procedure is transmitted. A downlink control information comprising an uplink grant is received via a downlink control channel while the first SR and the second SR are pending. Based on the reception of the downlink control information: the second SR for the buffer status reporting procedure is cancelled, and the first SR for the beam failure recovery procedure is kept pending.

The present invention provides a measurement configuration and reporting method, an apparatus and a user device. The method comprises: receiving a network configuration information, the network configuration information at least comprises a measurement target and a report configuration information, the measurement target can be used for a measurement and report of a Layer 3 (L3) beam or a Layer 1/Layer 2 (L1/L2) beam, and the report configuration information can be used for a measurement and report of the L1/L2 beam; measuring a non-serving cell based on the network configuration information to obtain a measurement result; and reporting the measurement result of the non-serving cell to a network, in response to a preset condition being satisfied.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MULTI-ANTENNA TRANSMISSION IN VEHICLE TO VEHICLE COMMUNICATION
A method of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method comprises: receiving, from a base station (BS), configuration information for a power control of a sidelink and a downlink reference signal (RS) to measure a downlink channel from the BS, wherein the sidelink is established between the UE and another UE; receiving, from the BS, the downlink RS based on the configuration information; calculating a first pathloss for the downlink channel between the UE and the BS based on the configuration information; identifying a second pathloss for the sidelink between the UE and the other UE; and transmitting, to the other UE, a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) and a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) based on the first pathloss and the second pathloss.

Disclosed are methods and devices for determining a modulation type of a signal using a circuit arrangement. The power is detected for a signal received at the circuit arrangement. This is done by means of N measured values in a measurement window. Based upon the detected power and one or more reference values or reference patterns, e.g., by means of a comparison or a correlation, the modulation type of the signal can be determined from a plurality of modulation types. Disclosed are also methods and devices for configuring an amplification unit of a circuit arrangement, in which the power of a received signal is detected by means of N measured values in a measurement window, and the amplification unit is configured based upon the detected power and one or more reference values or reference patterns.

METHOD FOR DETERMINING TRANSMIT POWER FOR PERFORMING UPLINK TRANSMISSION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
Disclosed herein are a method and a device for transmitting an uplink channel in a wireless communication system. According to the present disclosure, a UE transmits to a base station information associated with uplink transmission supported by the UE and the UE information includes a subset including at least one transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) supported by the UE. The UE may receive from the base station uplink transmission information including a TPMI for transmitting an uplink channel and transmit to the base station the uplink channel based on the uplink transmission information, and the uplink channel may be transmitted through full transmission power configured by the base station based on a case where the TPMI is included in the subset.

The present disclosure relates to a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate than a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: determining whether a reference signal received power (RSRP) of a reference for downlink path loss is equal to or greater than a threshold value; if the RSRP is greater than the threshold value, setting a random access type to 2-step random access; and if the RSRSP is not greater than the threshold value, setting the random access type to 4-step random access.

Provided are a method for performing, by a first device, wireless communication, and an apparatus for supporting same. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a second device, one or more sidelink synchronization signal blocks (S-SSBs) including a sidelink primary synchronization signal (S-PSS), a sidelink secondary synchronization signal (S-SSS), and a physical sidelink broadcast channel (PSBCH); obtaining an average reference signal received power (RSRP) value for at least one S-SSB from among the one or more S-SSBs; and determining, on the basis of the average RSRP value, whether to select the second device as a synchronization reference.
