Booster gain adjustment based on user equipment (UE) need
A technology is described for adjusting repeater gain based on user equipment need. A repeater can be configured to receive a downlink signal strength indicator value of a user equipment (UE) via a wireless connection of the UE with the repeater. The repeater can be further configured to select a threshold value for the downlink signal strength indicator value. The repeater can be further configured to reduce or bypass a downlink repeater gain level when the downlink signal strength indicator value is greater than the threshold value.

A secondary cell activation method and an apparatus, the method including sending, by a terminal device, first indication information to a network device, where the first indication information indicates receive beam direction information of the terminal device, and where the receive beam direction information is associated with a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource for activating a secondary cell of the terminal device, receiving, by the terminal device, configuration information from the network device, where the configuration information configures the CSI-RS resource, and sending, by the terminal device, a first channel state information (CSI) report to the network device, where the first CSI report is obtained based on the CSI-RS resource, and where the first CSI report is used to activate the secondary cell.
Method of reducing uplink inter-cell interference in a cellular communications network
Described is a method of reducing uplink inter-cell interference in a cellular communications network. The method comprises identifying in a cell any user equipments (UEs) which are susceptible to interference (ISUs) from another UE, particularly another UE in a neighboring cell. The method includes identifying in said cell any UEs causing interference (ICUs) to at least one neighboring cell and, more particularly, causing interference to a UE in a neighboring cell. The identified ISUs and ICUs are combined into a priority list for frequency resource reservation or allocation in said cell. The method may include limiting the identification of ISUs and ICUs to a selected number of UEs within the cell.

System and method for prioritization of network traffic across multiple wireless options
An information handling system comprising a processor, memory, and a wireless network interface device and the processor executing an access point survey module to survey a plurality of access points distributed across the multi-channel communication network having a plurality of wireless protocol networks to, based on the type of wireless protocol network, determine and assign a numerical value to the access point characteristics based on access point related signal quality factors and data connection factors aggregate the numerical values associated with the factors for each access point and rank each access point based on an aggregated score and assign communication for a network slice from the wireless network interface to an access point channel based on the aggregated scores of the access point.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BEAM MEASUREMENT, REPORTING AND INDICATION
Methods and apparatuses for beam measurement, reporting, and indication operations. A method for a user equipment includes receiving first configuration information for joint reporting, in a same reporting instance, of both one or more synchronization signal block resource indicators (SSBRIs) and channel state information reference signal resource indicators (CRIs); and receiving second configuration information for differential reference signal received power (RSRP) reporting of RSRP values for the one or more SSBRIs and CRIs, respectively. The method further includes determining, based on the first configuration information, the one or more SSBRIs and CRIs and determining, based on the second configuration information, the RSRP values for the one or more SSBRIs and CRIs, respectively. The method further includes transmitting position information associated with the RSRP values included in the joint reporting and transmitting, in the reporting instance, the joint reporting including the one or more SSBRIs and CRIs and the RSRP values.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING INTERFERENCE PROBABILITY WITHIN A RADIO FREQUENCY BAND
A device may receive location information associated with a fixed service satellite station (receiver) configured to communicate via a first radio frequency (RF) band. The device may obtain historical communication data associated with the location and relating to previous communications conducted via a second RF band, of user equipment (UEs). The historical communication data may include historical signal power measurements of the previous communications. The device may adjust the historical signal power measurements to model estimated signal power measurements relating to a UE to communicating via a first RF band. The device may determine, based on the estimated signal power measurements, an interference score associated with a probability of a UE interfering with the receiver when communicating, via a first RF band, with a base station.
