Method and apparatus for avoiding interference
A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform, for example, a method that determines at least one threshold for detecting signal interference in a first plurality of segments occurring in a first radio frequency spectrum of a first wireless communication system, detecting a pattern of recurrence over time of signal interference in a segment of the first plurality of resource blocks according to the at least one threshold, and performing one or more mitigation steps to mitigate the signal interference without filtering the signal interference where the one or more mitigation steps include at least one of transmitting signals out of phase from the signal interference, adjusting transmit power, increasing power in a resource block of a long term evolution communication session, performing beam steering, or changing time parameters for the resource block without changing to a new resource block. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Method and apparatus for supporting handover of drone in wireless communication system
Disclosed is a method for supporting the handover of a drone in a wireless communication system. The method is performed by the drone and includes measuring signal quality of one or more neighboring eNBs using one or more reference signals (RSs) transmitted by the one or more neighboring eNBs; configuring a candidate set comprising at least one candidate eNB related to the handover based on the measured signal quality, wherein a signal quality value measured with respect to the at least one candidate eNB is greater than a predetermined threshold; comparing the signal quality value of the at least one candidate eNB with a signal quality value of a serving eNB; and transmitting a first message to request the handover to the serving eNB if the signal quality value of the at least one candidate eNB is better than the signal quality value of the serving eNB for a specific period.

Coverage mode identification method and apparatus
Example coverage mode identification methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes determining a first coverage mode by a terminal. The terminal determines a preamble sequence based on the first coverage mode, and sends the preamble sequence to a base station, where the preamble sequence is used to determine the first coverage mode. Because the base station can determine the coverage mode of the terminal by using only the preamble sequence sent by the terminal, without using a channel used to receive a signal of the terminal, resources do not need to be grouped or planned, and there is no need to strictly distinguish between different coverage mode sets or groups.
Random access method, network device, and terminal device
Example random access methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a terminal device receives a system message that is sent by a network device on a first downlink carrier. The system message includes first information for performing random access on a first uplink carrier and second information for performing random access on a second uplink carrier. A frequency of the first uplink carrier is higher than a frequency of the second uplink carrier, and a frequency of the first downlink carrier is the same as the frequency of the first uplink carrier. The terminal device sends a random access request message on the first uplink carrier or on the second uplink carrier, and receives a random access response message that is sent by the network device on the first downlink carrier.
METHOD FOR REPORTING CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION AND DEVICE THEREFOR
Disclosed is a method for reporting channel state information by a terminal in a wireless communication system. More particularly, the method is characterized by: receiving information relating to an integrated channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) resource set including a plurality of CSI-RS resource groups; receiving information relating to CSI reporting setting associated with the integrated CSI-RS resource set; and reporting CSI for the integrated CSI-RS resource set based on the CSI reporting setting, wherein each of the plurality of CSI-RS resource groups can includes a plurality of CSI-RS resources.
RANDOM ACCESS COVERAGE EXTENSION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for aggregating random access requests across two or more physical random access channel (PRACH) occasions. Poor channel quality may inhibit the receipt of random access requests, and for user equipments (UEs) located in areas with relatively poor coverage, such aggregated random access requests may have an increased likelihood of successful receipt at a base station. The base station may configure a number of PRACH occasions to be available for aggregation of random access requests. A UE may receive PRACH configuration information from the base station, may aggregate a random access request across two or more PRACH occasions using the PRACH configuration information, and may transmit the aggregated random access request via the PRACH occasions. The base station may also configure one or more PRACH occasions to have a smaller subcarrier spacing for transmission of a random access request.

Method and Apparatus for Wi-Fi Network Processing, Electronic Device, and Storage Medium
Described herein are a method and apparatus for Wi-Fi network processing, an electronic device, and a storage medium. In response to detecting a Wi-Fi signal, signal energy of the Wi-Fi signal is obtained. In response to the signal energy being greater than a first energy threshold, a correlation degree between the Wi-Fi signal and a preset Wi-Fi signal is obtained. In response to the signal energy being greater than the first energy threshold and less than a second energy threshold and the correlation degree is greater than a first correlation degree threshold, the Wi-Fi signal is demodulated. In response to the signal energy being not less than the second energy threshold and the correlation degree is greater than a second correlation degree threshold, the Wi-Fi signal is demodulated.
