System and method for broadcasting captions
There is disclosed one or more methods, systems and components therefor for broadcasting captions of a presenter's speech to audience members to accompany the live viewing of the presentation. A host captioning device converts the presenter's speech to text and communicates the text to and for presentation by an audience member's client device. The communication session between the host captioning device and the client device is established by an invitation request from the host captioning device in response to a registration request from the client device. The captioning information may be communicated in real time as text. The host captioning device either connects to a network or provides one itself, thereby serving as an access point for the client devices.

RATELESS CODING AND FEEDBACK SCHEME FOR COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
A device can include memory to store source packets and coded packets. The device can include processing circuitry to perform a first coding phase and a second coding phase. In the first coding phase, the processing circuitry can combine the source packets to generate a first set of coded packets, where a coded packet can be defined according to a degree, the degree being a count of the source packets used to generate the coded packet. In the second coding phase, the same source packets into a second set of coded packets, such that a total number of coded packets generated in the first encoding phase and in the second encoding phase is greater than a total number of source packets. In another aspects, broadcasters can receive feedback beacons and modify broadcast accordingly.

SYSTEM AND METHOD TO CHANGE PA and PAwR TIMING
A system and method for efficiently modifying the parameters of a Periodic Advertisement (PA) or Periodic Advertisement with Response (PAwR) train are disclosed. Rather than forcing all of the listening devices to reacquire synchronization to the new PAwR train, the periodic advertiser transmits the parameters associated with the new or revised train in the periodic advertisements of the existing train. The listening devices receive the new parameters and update their timers accordingly such that they exit low power mode in time to receive the periodic advertisement on the new or revised train. In some embodiments, the periodic advertiser generates a new train, while in other embodiments, the periodic advertiser changes the parameters associated with the PA or PAwR train without creating a new train.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A wireless communication device and an image display apparatus including the same are disclosed. An image display according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a display, a memory to store country code information, a signal processing device to output an image signal to the display, and a wireless communication device to perform wireless communication with an external device, wherein the wireless communication device is configured to scan a beacon frame, set wireless channel and wireless transmission power based on the country code information stored in the memory in response to a beacon frame being not received within a predetermined period, and in response to the beacon frame being received within the predetermined period, extract the country code information within the beacon frame and set wireless channel and wireless transmission power based on the extracted country code information. Accordingly, it is possible to efficiently perform wireless communication.
