Disclosed are connectors and collapsible bed frames. A collapsible bed frame includes first and second frame units disposed side by side. Each of the first and second frame units comprises a plurality of bar units with adjacent bar units rotatably connected with each other. A collapsible bed frame also includes an inner lateral bar unit disposed between the first and second frame units, and rotatably connected with the first and second frame units. During contraction and expansion, the first frame unit, the second frame unit and the inner lateral bar unit remain substantially on a first plane defined by a top surface of the collapsible bed frame when it is expanded.

The present invention relates to the field of bed frame structures, and in particular, to a novel detachable bed frame assembly mechanism. The novel detachable bed frame assembly mechanism includes a bed frame body. The bed frame body includes an outer frame, an inner frame, and two sets of wooden strips. The outer frame is a rectangular frame including two horizontal tubes, two lateral tubes, four L-shaped iron-plate connectors, bolts, and nuts. The inner frame includes at least one horizontal connecting tube, a plurality of lateral connecting tubes, iron sheets, bolts, and nuts. The two sets of wooden strips are symmetrically disposed on the horizontal connecting tube and the horizontal tubes on both sides of the horizontal connecting tube and are parallel to the lateral tubes, to connect the horizontal connecting tube to the horizontal tubes. The invention is easy to assemble and disassemble and is safe and reliable.

The loading/relief apparatus acts on a spring element to achieve pressure loading or relief. The loading/relief apparatus has an electric motor in operative connection with at least one pressure element by which a pressure force is exerted or exertable on a spring element to achieve pressure loading or relief. The loading/relief apparatus has a first carriage in drive connection with an electric motor and is translationally movable in the longitudinal direction of the support apparatus. The first carriage bears at least one arm whose free end carries the pressure element for load/relief of the spring elements.
